78 was the highest I had. I'm just confirming that it must be 79+ where ew jumps to 34. Dafuq pissed in your cherios? I didn't for one moment mean to suggest you'd lower yourself to running a scrubby 78.

Anything above 100k dps is more than enough.

as long as ur critchance is in the 90ies and the single target over 250k

16% more ES.

Drop 7*6% ES nodes and 1*10 dex.

Link via melding and socket Energy from Within. You lose 42% ES but gain 52% ES and 30 int.

I'm presuming you can afford the 10 dex, but even if not, drop another 6% ES take Coordination or Alacrity and still coming out well on top.
