What Happens When the Domination and Nemesis Leagues End?

This all sounds terrific! Have been eagerly awaiting the merge of changes to the parent leagues.

I do hope that there will be PVP in the parent leagues, I hope there is some kind of rule against wearing legacy items or possibly nerfing them down to the stats on droppable gear for the actual PVP.

All in all Very excited for the expansion and new leagues!

And with hidden diminishing returns for IIR/IIQ formulas, which have been found by player notice and testing, everything is a big mess that you wonder why you have to get your head around.

And there will be (most likely) another batch of nerfed uniques, soon-to-be-legacy.



Now, it might be ok. game feature. how is this going to look after another 8 months cycle?
We, the player base, will be moaning and whining about what are we quitting over, but is it sane for the game and our play time experience?

I will love to see how will PoE 1.1.0 compete with smart drops from RoS. PoE has exactly 20 days to convince me to stay and play new HC league before i leave and go to play RoS if drops will sux like in Nemesis :-))

IMO iqq mod needs to be removed from all existing items (excluding some uniques) giving irr on its place or nothing (if it already has irr). Leaving tons of iqq legacy items would be fatal in the long run as their prices would skyrocket and again, the only people who could afford them would be hardcore grinders/traders. Wealthy ones would buy best iqq legacies and farm as they used to. The rest would struggle to farm 1 chaos recipe per week. Great balance.

You're missing the part where this doesn't matter because they do not care about standard/hardcore economies (as is correct to do). This entire game is focused on the idea of non-permanent things: leagues, races, rerolling characters, etc.

It's the easy way out. If something is too bothersome to fix, declare it a feature. "Just play new leagues if you don't like standard."

There should be a disclaimer warning new players about to start in standard that they are about to play in an unintended game mode then.
