I use Quality Life Leech because of the increased rate of Life recovery, and having extra Leech also works with other skills that are not linked to Life Leech, like Frenzy and Puncture :)

So I guess to confirm, Blood Rage and Blood Dance are not mandatory to the build but provide some survivability through life leech at the cost of blood rage's 3.9% chaos/second damage.

Also with puncture, is the intention to attack until a crit occurs and then stop? I'm trying to understand best usage of the skill for single targets vs Frenzy.

I followed this guide for the recent rampage league and I just wanted to thank you, it's my first high level character and it was an absolute success, great damage and survivability at almost lvl 80 now and so enjoyable to play, I really appreciate it :D

What am I supposed to look for when looking at bows? Is it better to use bows that have high physical damage range like 130-350 with low attack speed or is something ike 150-250 with high attack speed better?

I never stop hitting :P I use Puncture just as like how I used Frenzy, spam till it stops existing :D Regarding Blood Rage and Blood Dance, the regen from 6 Frenzy charges + Blood Dance means I never need to worry about the degen from Blood Rage as it cancels each other out AND I gain all the good sides of having both!

Regarding bows, the difference isn't that huge a difference but it WILL make a difference depending on if you choose to use Frenzy or Puncture. As Puncture's strength is the Bleed when you crit, a slower high damage bow is ideal.

For Frenzy, it works with both kinds of bows. Frenzy makes the slow bow feel more responsive, and with a fast bow Frenzy just goes nuts. Note though that with the nerf to the Frenzy gem, the attack speed gained is not as high as it used to.

Yup, the difference is negligible. You can have a look at my videos as I use a 6L Lioneye's in them and you can see the damage is pretty decent (medium damage, fast bow), but I've since switched to a Harbinger. I'm still trying to get used to the slower attack speed, but I'm getting there!


The 6 Link really helps in getting the DPS up (obviously!) as I can put in more DPS supports on it. You can take a peek of my gear at the bottom of the guide :D

I have not done the math yet, but it seems that Herald of Ashes might be pretty good while solo. In a group though I think Hatred more than wins out on damage :D
