let s say you are right munstamucnh... So the devs would have made an rng based mob that spawn using a 2ex currency?

I need to get an eternal (I never seen one drop since I play CB), waste it on a shity unique and maybe I would get after +1000 random runs a monsters that would maybe drop the item if it did not already drop this same week on the server I am?

Way to waste a 2ex orb right there.

Why? It makes loads of sense. Fishing rods are OP, so obviously they made it so that those who invest the most in finding them have the best chance to get one. What part of that doesn't make sense?

It s a not a random rng drop like I could drop a bor in maps, it s a item I would need to invest an already impossible to find orb that most of people buy on the market for 2ex.

Now 2ex for some poor people is impossible to get, and this mean this useless rod would have been created to favors already richs.

Also once I spent 2ex of currency to get this item, you tell me it s not even sure it will drop, so someone already poor would waste his only 2ex and never find this rod.

All of this makes a lot of doubt about your claims. At least Charan sword, once the ingredients found is 100% sure thing.

the type thing in chat,the fairgrave tricorne ,the facebreaker thing, the turning clockwise instances... it is something you already said to be ingredients for finding feathers. I found 2 feathers just running naked in mud, making me doubt all what you are saying about those feathers&rods things are true.

If you are trolling, making people spend 2ex for nothing is not a nice thing to do.

Not really. For one thing, people who followed my advice seem to have had no difficulty in obtaining multiple rods, that makes it a solid investment. 2ex is nothing compared to the price of a rod. I've never found a bringer of rain, yet I've found a rod. If anything it favors the poor because it gives them an easy way to invest in fishing without just leaving it to pure rng. Poor people gotta fish too, it's not just for the elites.

You seem to be deeply confused. To clear a couple of things up; we're talking about rods here, not feathers. I also don't recall anything to do with facebreakers since rods reappeared in the game.

This is a game. As long as people are having fun with their orbs, everyone's a winner. It's not like I'm encouraging people to go and bet their entire life savings on the existence of jabberjaws (though of course, it would be a sure fire way to double your net worth in no time :P).

Your English is fine. I got all the info I have from reading forum posts (dating back a long way), checking out the game's data files (as others do), and from trial and error. Maybe I typed it for the lulz? How about Varanice and arpgfan who both found multiple rods after following my advice, did they just get lucky after trying it for the lulz too? And don't worry about denying being jelly. It's ok. It's a natural reaction to seeing other people with uber awesome fishing rods and wanting to be a part of it. One day you'll find one and everything will feel ok again, I promise <3

You're confused. My post history will show that I've consistently said that the easiest way to get a feather is to buy one, and I stand by that advice. Yes, feathers and rods are clearly connected, but that doesn't mean that what works for one will work for the other, and I've never said it would.

And yes, I totally get it. You don't care about fishing at all, you're totally not jelly, you've just spent the last few pages arguing the point to show just how little you care about it, because that's the logical thing to do when you don't care about something. Amirite?
