One Week Nemesis Race Infographic
" In 1 week race, going for CI seems difficult, you need to be at high level ( min lvl 65 ) and you need the right stuff, which is pretty hard to get in a one week race. |

Something like this would be very interesting for Domination/Nemesis. Nice work.

how many uniques did the level 8 character have?

" I would love to see more of these stats! I'm certain you use them in a very relevant way to improve the game and the balance in general, but it's cool to have the stat info as a player too :) |

Repost from Reddit for exposure :
My thoughts on this One Week Race and general game Balance : * I would have hope that **Freeze Mine was disable** for this race. In my opinion, it take a big part of why people could get lvl.90 in One Week (it's the first time we even see that), and the Nemesis Ladder is a joke right now. Overall, Top 10 Nemesis (a 3 months old League) is higher than Hardcore (one year old League). Yes, maps got buffed but I would've really liked to see a temporary race without Freeze Mine. I know this skill is going to get fixed next patch, I just point out the One Week format could've been a great test Tool for this point. * Iron Reflex. Same problem since Open Beta, it was always OP. And I think the real problem is not Iron Reflex itself, but Grace. The fact that everyone is using Grace for a non-evasion build is counter intuitive (in term of game design, I mean). Overall, Grace is way better than Determination for any armor build. For comparaison, let's take the highest Evasion/Armor/Energy Shield we can get on the highest theorical Chest piece (with Life, so without Armor/Stun recover) : **Grace is 75%** of the best Evasion Chest, **Determination is (obviously) 51%** of every Armor Chest and **Discipline is 38%** (down to 30% with 3 prefix). Suggestion : **change Grace to %dodge** * Chaos Innoculation / Energy Shield builds are in a bad spot. It was OP back in Onslaught/Anarchy for two reasons : life was shit, and you could "cheese" low-life Righteous Fire with no gear (outside of maps) for high reward (200% more damage) with a little passives investissement (like 3 points, Templar %life regen and Zealot's Oath). RF got nerfed (for pur casters use, Life RF is a completely different play), low-life without Shavronne's Wrapping is suicide now in Nemesis (too risky against Rogue Exiles and Vile Touch), base life got buffed, %Life nodes got buffed and easier access to life nodes was made. In the same time, the ES ring near the Scion is still 6% without notable passive. * Vaal Pact. The keystone itself is a great one, but the location is weird. It's far away from any ES nodes and it's bad for life build. **Vaal Pact need a relocation** to make it accessible to Templar / Witch / Shadow, **or a rework** to make it usable for life build with a downside. Something like **20% less life and energy shield** can probably do the job. * Ancestral Bond was taken by 0.2% of players. Looks like it got nerfed a bit too hard (or it's only the conjunction between the nerf of Spell Casters and low-life+RF, and the rise of 2H's users). * The Infographic doesn't tell of many people used the Blood Magic Gem. Probably every non-Eldritch Build. It's something to adress in my opinion. And the last thing. Remember that Normal Tidal Island is ten time more deadly than any end game map ! To take care friends. There's so much wrong with the current metagame and the race just proves that.
- ST is way too strong and has a super low mana cost (explains why leveling as Scion/Ranger is so popular and easy) - Witch tree is still fucked up. One of the bigger ES clusters (Void Barrier or Nullification) should be moved to the witch tree and swap places with the Deep Thoughts tree. - Scion is positioned badly in the tree. Good luck going for VP as a templar or witch. Maybe the node should be duplicated and another one should be placed at the top of the tree? If you want to go US + VP you would still have to go down. - Totem builds were nerfed into oblivion and should be re-balanced - RF builds for ES users were nerfed into oblivion and should be re-balanced Hello darkness my old friend..

Love this info, but it seems a lot of people are forgetting it's about a one week race in there assumptions....
Why no ci? = one week race Why scion so op? = one week race (st is the most versatile lvl 1 leveling skill) Why so much iron reflexes? = one week race (free high tier armor? grace + ir) Sometimes it puzzles me why people ask questions like this, when it is pretty clear the race format supports this style or favors another. The only thing that "puzzles" me, is why tidal island in normal has a 1200% dead ratio compared to endgame maps. And i am pretty sure it is "party" related. Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

" vaal pact is viable for life players but requires a lot more awareness as you depend on leech/tp to town (if possible) and devouring totem. i play life VP cycloner with 2300hp (crap gear), do 70+ maps and died only few times, each time to some crazy Exile. in HC i would have simply got 5k life and not toy with funny uniques and be fine totem builds were 'brought in line' not overnerfed. change was huge because totem builds were ABSURD in OB. not only the king of the absurds (LL/RF/sporker) but general totem play: low risk/low cost/easy play/high reward/max MF. that made totem builds absurd. clear speed might not have been highest, but given it was possible to play with 400/100MF that clear speed mattered little. people are used to using OP stuff and they've simply moved to new FOTM (ST) and the last one. i DO NOT USE on any char any BM stuff (Besides clarity). it is so easy to get enough mana regen that i do not understand people wasting their links for BM. but maybe it has something to do with over-reliance on life leech. i simply do not get it. |

" It's a week race - the effective pool of life is to a very large degree based on the base life gained per level, while CI is (Short of Discipline) completely reliant on gear. |
