Salmoners are all about strength and life, so Marauders work well. Although they can ascend the seasonal ladders, Salmoners eare best suited to spawning minions and taking on increasingly higher levels of challenge. Leap Spawn is their best attack (the Steelhead helm boosts this skill nicely) and Bear Trap is critical for defense. The Righteous Flyer gem is still bugged, in that it takes your Salmoner's life buy does not grant the corresponding attack bonuses.
