Game Wont start "Failed resetting direct3D device objects"

BUMP - im sorry for the bump but I really need some help with that..

maybe its an directx issue. there is a way to completlly remove direct x from my system for reinstall it?
How did you uninstalled your video drivers? Through the adapter properties like on this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCpUC33pVXQ ? Try to completly uninstall video drivers for both video cards. Install for radeon only drivers (don't install CCC and other thing). Disable your NVIDIa card and try to run the game with radeon.

What does changed on your PC in that month in which you didn't play POE?
Sorry for my English, it's not my native language.

I deleted completely the Nvidia driver with "Driver Fusion". reinstalled it to earlier driver and its still seems not working.

then i decided to remove my nvidia GPU from my computer and install the Intel HD2500 that is integrated in my CPU (i5) - i installed the intel drivers restart the computer and i got the same errors.

from that i understood that may the DirectX cause the problem and I'm trying to reinstalling my direct x with no luck so far ...

any clue what can be the problem??
Try to add -d3d9 to game shortcut

good idea but still doesnt work

i also tried -dx9 no help either :(

umm what should i need to do next ?
I just modified my production_config.ini. Seems that my problem was having the game on full screen and direct3d failed to load, so i changed the line "fullscreen=false".

Hope it helps, greetings.
[Solved]

I did complete fresh windows 7 installation :/

Thanks anyway.

Removing (or renaming) production_Config.ini Worked for me.
If you dont know where to find the file look for

C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile

Hope it helped

// maffz
Spoiler
I ran into this today. Tried maffs approach, but it will still crash if I try to go to windowed maximized or check windowed fullscreen in the setting and then hit apply. It also crashes if I try to change resolution.

I also tried a second fix: Deleting the shader cache located in the game folder. Did not fix anything, still crashes if I change resolution.

Third fix attempt: Remove the radeonpro profile for PoE.

I don't see anything special here. Its not logging that its crashing.

4th fix attempt: Shut down radeonpro. It worked. Oh well. I don't even.
I wish I knew why, or could debug why it would be a problem. But oh well.

Only non vanilla about the computers software setup would be
-Windows 7(64)
-Game ran from D:\Games
-RadeonPro used instead of AMD CCC, mostly for setting up better vsync setup

RadeonPro why...

My problem was that the game worked completely fine in fullscreen, but switching to either windowed or windowed fullscreen would crash (either through the menu or the config file). I closed RP and now it works just fine.

Thanks for the solution!
