Does the GFX card your using have a control panel? If so let me know.
If not I'll be able to link you to the latest one that you can get and we can easily fix your problem.
Also, make sure you have this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851
Download and install that and if it says you already have it then install it anyway and it will just replace your old .net framework.
Also, your up to date drivers for your GTX 260 can be found here. It should also have the control panel with it but if not I can post the link for you.

After you do that open your control panel and let me know when it's open.
Right after you install your new drivers use this program: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard
Once you install it run the registry cleaner. The program will make a backup for you also which you should do.
Once you do that and your at your control panel we should be able to fix your issue.

Last thing..is this happening when you hit launch on client.exe or after you get into the game with Login then Play?
Ok here's a few things you can try to do:
1: Go to control panel>Hardware and sound>Device Manager>Click on display drivers and make sure you're gfx card shows up. If so continue to the second thing. If not, reply.
2: Go to adjust image settings with preview at the top and click let the 3D application setting decide.
3: Let me know if none of this works. :P

Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Device Manager
Click display and tell me if your GTX 260 shows up there.
If it shows it try redownloading directx.
