Magic the Gathering: Path of Exile

I used to play magic a ton when I was younger, still do very rarely.

Cool idea, I know the Devs are big into magic(at least some of them).

That heavy strike is extremely op. make it 1 red 2 colorless and its ok.

As far as Ideas for the game.

Make Act Bosses Phasewalkers.
Continue to use mobs as creatures.
Use currencies as artifacts.
Buffs as enchantments.
Areas for lands.
spells for spells.

My specific Idea, use the crab like creature in sumberged passage.

2 islands to play.
Crab-Creature

When this creature dies put a 1/1 creature with reach into play

2/2

The game does not adapt to you, you adapt to it.
beast
Cutthroat + HC, Be ready to get heartbroken !
Death's Harp
5 colorless mana
Legendary Artifact - Equipment
Equip: 3
Equipped creature has tap: deals 3 damage you divide between any number of creatures and/or players.
Magic the Pathering? I like!

I had very little exposure to MtG - a few friendly matches five years back - but I dig the card design.
12/12/12 - the day Germany decided boys are not quite human.
As an avid, if rather new, player of Magic, that's freaking sweet as an idea and some of those cards are just awesome. They just...work.
Thunderstorms and Sugar
Yes, yes, yes!
OP, that's a crazy good job you did there!
Kudos
Haven't played MtG for a long time (i.e. the equipment mechanic being new to me).
I'm very surprised how well the screenshots/in-game graphics mesh with the card style.
Can't wait for more, please keep this up!

Some random ideas

Necromancer
(Creature, black): Tap: Untap a Creature at the beginning of a player's phase -OR-
The top creature card of your graveyard comes back into play at the beginning of another player's phase (dunno how to offset this cost-wise, sounds pretty OP)

Mana Leech
(maybe equipment? I have to check out how this works):
Attacking with this creature adds half the damage dealt as colorless mana to your mana pool

Spell Totem
(Artifact): Tap, random mana cost -OR- pay cost of Sorcery card played: Put a Sorcery card back in your hand after playing it

Phase Run
(Instant): Skip your next turn. Creatures you control can attack during the next player's combat phase.

Temporal Chains
(Instant): Your blocking creatures get First Strike until the end of this turn

Okay, not the best ideas, mechanics-wise ...
I'll try to think of more and flesh out ideas.

P.S. GGG for the love of this guy's idea and if you are truely MtG fans, sticky this or maybe we could have a forum section for stuff like this, to have a dedicated place/home for projects like this.
If you're leaving PoE, chances are I'll rezz you as my minion! MWHAHAHAH

That's pretty badass. Makes me want to start playing again.

That's an understatement.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

The creativity some people have amazes me. Great job! Really cool :)
I could probably make a full set myself since I'm quite a old mtg player (I have over 10 years of play).

And yeah, a lot of the GGG staff loves mtg :)
