Magic the Gathering: Path of Exile

Any Magic fans out here?
I have this idea to make a custom Magic set about Path of Exile. Anybody wants to contribute?
I was thinking about a small stand-alone set, about 150 cards, but hey, if people have enough ideas, we can make even a big set!
These are my ideas so far:

I don't really play Magic and I've never been too interested... But that's pretty badass.

Never played Magic... always been kinda interested in it.

No idea how to play but this seems cool.

I like MTG but never got enough into it to make balanced cards...but Tempest Shield needs to be there.

never been a fan of magic the gather not because I don't like just never have gotten into it...That said this is EPIC I love it :)

To add to this, Brian Weissman of GGG was/is a pro MtG player.

I've always wanted to ask him if the Chaos Orb currency was inspired by the MtG Chaos Orb from Alpha/Beta/Unlimited.
