" Yes, all character levels and items will be wiped. The only things that remain are your characters on level 1 - so you have your character names still, your pets (if you have any) and any demigod's presences (reward from the Beta races). That will be the last wipe. From 23rd of January on out it'll be be to stay. 12/12/12 - the day Germany decided boys are not quite human.

Whooo, awesome. Day by day this game is finally getting the attention it deserves! And may become the single best ARPG of all time. Or, perhaps, it already is.
And we're not even done, yet. We have not seen everything you guys have in store, yet! Thank you for your effort, GGG! For the time and for the care that so many companies today seem to lack. For the attention to detail, the courage to give us the complexity, individuality and versatility an ARPG needs (looking at you D3 .V.), for so simple, yet great ideas and possibilities (endgame maps, race events,...) and for taking all the time you need to polish this game into perfection and not rushing anything. Chris I'm glad that PoE gets so much publciity, I just hope that it doesn't end up with TOO MUCH of it and we end with PoE's version of error 37 :(

Awesome! Glad GGG are upping the server count. Still could be in for a rough ride on the first day but that's a drop in the ocean: this game will be a massive success for a long time to come. :)

If the servers go splat, I will not hold it against GGG. They are a small studio at the moment and just need some time to iron out the remaining rough edges, don't throw a hissy on OB day okay?! ;)
If GGG chickens made an action RPG, what would it be called? Path of Eggxile, a Peck 'n' Slash RPG.

Congrats on all the press! You guys deserve it! I just pray I can log on day 1 because I'm super excited to have persistent characters that I can build and treasure FOREVER!:D
On a side note, I know you guys are super busy with open beta coming up... but another build of the week would be awesome sooner rather than later.:D |
