Massive news update

They said something about a reworked minimap in the IGN preview. But when Chris showed the start of act 1 it's the same old, ugly map. What's up with that?

Exactly! Remind it's f2p, non-p2w. And i'm pretty sure they gonna get many extra severs, they said that they could get rid of them if they need to anyway...

I think he meant the not-really-new corner map.

I think he also said that they would work on a better one, but that would require to actually re-do all the tens of thousands ofbuilding blocks the random level generator uses so they show up differently on the map.

The map is kind of "old fashioned", and quite ugly...

But you can use it for navigation, and it´s better than no map, that´s the most important point! ;-)

I am so amped for the Open Beta. And it's coming right when I begin my one month vacation from teaching. Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see the patch notes!

Tested out a ranger, just hit ruthless, enjoyed the game, and looking forward to act 3, and the end game maps (when i get there).

Dude, Chris, that beard man. Good stuff.

Finally, a worthy successor to D2 (there will never be a replacement.... that game was a gem).

I´ve paid for the early access and I can say, that it´s awesome ! :D

There are´as of now still a few things I think should be changed before Open beta, but overall I think it´s a great game! :)
