Merciless Merveil Farming Log

I just ran this 20 times. 3-5 rares dropped per run, totalling around 60-100. Not a single unique dropped.

Am I overleveled for this and it's nurfing the chance of a unique drop?

As an avid farmer, I've farmed everywhere for hours on end. Merveil is only good for alt/alch farming and is the the worst Act boss to farm, the only good uniques she can drop is the Marohi Erqi(before 1.0 she would drop Andvarius quite often) Maligaro's, and Voidbringer IIRC. Dominus is clearly the best boss to farm as long as you can kill him fast, you can amass a lot of chaos. With good RNG, you get rares worth multiple chaos/exalts(also uniques). Piety would be 2nd, the biggest difference is, it takes longer to run to her than it does to Dominus and from my experience he will drop the big ticket uniques more often. Now, if Piety or Dom are out of the question, then Vaal is your best option. He drops the chaos recipe whereas Merveil doesn't. He can drop uniques like Romira's Banquet, Soul Taker, Shav's, Lightning Coil, Rainbow's, Mjölner etc. While farming Merveil is quick and easy, Vaal can be too and is a much better option mainly because of the chaos recipie.
