Guilds ( Suggestions) - Everything About Guilds

People in the guild must NOT gain any better stats like elemental res or better loot. Guilds should be fully optional things if the person wants to be in a group. All these stat upgrades will only make people join for it and not community. Creating hell for guild master and people who was to be part of a group.


Everyone will be greedy for free upgrade.



I WANT guilds, don't get me wrong. But we must not fuck up the game with free rewards just joining a group.

Did you forgot about Kicking? also its not like Join and you are in Only Guild Leader and Veterans can inv you. Also if you are there just for the rewards from guild than Leader surely will understand and kick that.

So here is my next suggestion and pls comment on it if its good ill add it to First post:

-Guild Leader can add note to the player in Guild window and all players from the guild can see that note, he can make the notes for many reasons and this should solve the problem.

As an old player of Ultima Online, my main idea of a guild is mostly based on a honnor to be in a particular guild (based on pvp) and ability to have organized ganging team for cuthroat games and pvp events. As a secondary effect, it adds more fun to pvm.
So, I hope there will be many ways to realise team potential for pvp, which includes, ofcoure, balanced pvp system.
There could also be, as is very popular thing in many games, chaos and order or good and bad guilds. Bad guilds consists of bad guys - player killers, who hunt down newbies and all good guys. And good guilds - who hunt down bad guys. This can all be realised in cuthroat leagues.
These bad and good guilds can team up and make a massive spontanious pvp all day long.

But as i understand that its for cuthroat and im trying to make for all leagues

i dont like the idea with the free reward stuff if you join a guild. i agree with Neito on that point.

but that pvp ideas are realy awesome.

damn good thoughts. i would love this cuthroat league.
im sure if GGG adds guild stuff they wont add res\stat rewards. it would fuck the balance imo.

something like that:

Guild Things:

1.Guild Level ( just like players leveling)

2. With getting level there should be rewards like 2% Better Loot, 2% Resist to all Elemental

3. Guild Halls

4. Guild Quests - Yeah you read good they should be hard and only a guild can do and there can be Achievement in Guild Interface and you can see when you open players profile and you can click Guilds and see that Guild achievements and those achivements can be achieved by doing hard Guild Quests ( i dont like achievements.if a guild want to do something together they could do hardcore high lvl maps )

5. Guild Battle - Guild vs Guild

6. Ladder for Guilds by expirienece

7. There can be races like now there are solo,party and instead party now there can be Guild race, and the reward will go to the Guild not the players.

8. Guild Stash with restrictions that leader can put. ( hm maybe )

9. PVP Guild Ladder - with each victory in Guild Battle every Guild gets 10 points if the guild looses than it will cost you 5 points. ( something like that. maybe another system )

10. Guild Message of the Day - Useful for telling the new players if you have web-site or forum for the guild, also serves as timer for Guild Quests, Guild leader can tell when guild will do Guild quests.


maybe i would add something like a guild chat too. like trade and global but just for the whole guild members who are online.

If its no for rewards than Why should be Guild levels? whats their purpose?

yeah you are right it would be pretty useless. you could add something like extra member slots for the guild. you start with guild lvl 1 and got something like 5 member slots and every 5-10 level you gain 2 member slots. just for example. but to be honest if res\stat bonus would be the only option i would skip that guild lvl idea.

My point is i like Guild leveling and it opens a race you can make race with that like now One-week race and than it should be 3 hour Guild race or one-week Guild race etc. Also there can be 2 kinds of race Guild exp Race and Guild PvP race with Guild points as explained on First posts. So if i delete that rewards lets find another solution for that place

Why not? Auctually i was super excited when i thought of that. But yeah its your opinion can you explain why you dont like it?
