The 'more' modifier associated with Concentrated Effect does require special attention, though, as do target-centric effects like curses or Elemental Equilibrium. life/ES= 6229 Inc Dmg= 365% More Dmg= 67% 3114*4.65*1.67=24186? |

" I arrive at 24181 or 24182, depending on the rounding rules the game uses. If you use curses and/or Elemental Equilibrium, some relevant discussion can be found on page 86 of this thread. Note that the typical assumption (in any build guide, not just this one) is that a target has 0% resistance to the damage dealt. |

Well I was close enough ;) Thanks a lot Silk, it's always good to know how much damage (ish) you are doing :D Also ye, I understand Curses and Mob resistance isn't factored in to that number, but I do use EW and EE so when I notice mobs degen'ing slowly I throw EW on them and sometimes hit them with FP :)

I see a lot of people suggesting flameblast for totem killing. What about using trap-searing bond-increased burning? We already have the +burning talents, and no +spell damage. Seems to me like it would make a better active skill. I'm not quite there yet to try it myself though.

yea i think there is many players who use searing bond somehow with RF builds.
i think for totems it would be enough to put a voideye ring with SB in it in inventory to be able to switch on when there are totems, doesnt really need any links imo. regarding spell dmg the 5x% more spell dmg from righteous fire already does some, iron will can also produce serious DPS increase on any spells if u have alot of strength. most RF builds will have their 300 str at least. flameblast for example has the advantage that its a long range ability and better for kiting very dangerous enemies. EK is also ok - there is tons of options but no one really talks about it because RF damage is so high that any other skills besides mobility are rarely needed. the other bigger RF/EK build here on the marauder forum for example uses a more strengthy path and EK to be able to do more map mods, on which it doesnt run RF at all i was also thinking about vaal storm call linked with increased duration/iron will becaue u can set it off before cycloning through the crowd and then it stays active for at least 6 seconds and rains lightning. i strongly recommend trying some spells just to not get bored ;P vaal storm call is also only 8 souls a use which is the best vaal spell in that term Last edited by MDGeizt#2677 on Apr 8, 2014, 1:50:19 PM

Should I get a Lazhwar for this build? 4% block, 1% max, +1 curse?
Does the 1% fire leech apply as per usual, or would that be awesome for this? |
