My New Unique Map - 1.0.2

Fuckin' Olmec, no way dude

Ahh, the memories. I must play this map, but I'm telling you now ill be disappointed if the music/Olmec-voice isn't there.

Are there going to be teams of mobs like the Golden Monkeys and Green Salamanders, racing across little ponds to attack you? With helmets and kneepads on?

I've never actually played the map (GGG handles all the playtesting and balancing on their own) and frankly I probably never will. I've never had a character that high in the map progression before and I doubt I will. What zone / map is the tileset based on? Or is it completely new? Any other new mobs / mechanics in this map that we can hope to see in the main game in future patches?

I really hope it has a big mix of tilesets, since each room in Olmec's Temple had its own theme, and the themes match up with PoE maps in convenient ways. Also, how could you possibly assemble the silver monkey the wrong way kid?
I hope it's actually unique, unlike Poorjoy's Asylum.

I'm sorry @Poorjoy, but your map really doesn't have anything "unique" about it.
it's just a super-buffed, crazy-modded rare map compared to stuff like Acton's Nightmare.

Hopefully Olmec has an Attack called "Devourer Nova", which sends out 8 Devourer-Packs in different directions.

Or maybe Devourer Call, Olmec marks an area on the ground, and after 1 second, A Devourer pops up



Another Map that's needed is The Sanctum of the Gold Monkey, which is inhabited by... lots of Monkeys :D

It's likely you'll see the boss elsewhere in the game at a later point. But not in the way you might at first think.
