My New Unique Map - 1.0.2

Oh god I used to watch that as a kid.
Ah the nostalgia of the 90's. Sounds like a cool map, can't wait to run it.

What's the base item? From the possibilities I'm guessing Residence.

You can feel free to ask questions but I don't expect to give out any more information than this. I don't want to ruin the surprise of the map. Rory has done an awesome job and I think people are really going to like it.

Doesn't this mean you've paid to win? Knowing the details gives you a significant in-game advantage over the rest of us, who will have to run it blind at first.

Is it a one-shotting boss?

I have a guess as to what makes this map 'unique' but I'll keep it to myself to not steal your thunder.

If it is what I think it is, I think it'll be a great map to watch people stream as well.

No you don't have a three minute time limit to run the map. Though that certainly would have made things interesting.
Dang

So the significantly higher level part you mentioned means the possibility of at least ilvl 79 gear from the boss and the potential for an ilvl 100?

Very interested to see this map now :O

Good job op.

I've never actually played the map (GGG handles all the playtesting and balancing on their own) and frankly I probably never will. I've never had a character that high in the map progression before and I doubt I will. Within a day I imagine there will be all sorts of videos on youtube and twitch so you can learn all about the map and the best way to beat it then.

hrm no it doesnt, it gives him an advantage over *1* person, after which everyone will have watched it on youtube and be on equal footing.

Dozens of people will have completed the map before he gets a chance to do it.

I hope some kind soul takes you to run the map :)
