More monsters doesn't always mean more maps and larger maps doesn't always mean more monsters, but they are directly proportional and will on average yield a proportional increase to monsters and map drops.

Storm Call only causes YOUR markers to explode, right? So if I get 5 other dudes and we all spammed Storm Call, we couldn't proc each other's markers?

Amazing how many people STILL haven't grasped the simple concept that just because they release an update with info like this about SOME of the changes in an upcoming patch, it doesn't mean that those are the ONLY changes coming.
Omg, hopefully bigger maps will increase map drops. It's sad, that when i play a new map I'm more worried if it will give me a map drop, than - if I survive the map.

Low crit chance isn't justified, especially with lightning damage having very low minimum damage meaning if you do land a crit on the low end, you won't shock anyway.

In 1.0.2 we will be removing the mods for maps that affect the size of maps. We will give a reward to quantity for maps that still have those mods on them. We will be making all maps larger by default. This image shows some before and after comparisons:

No more pointless maze spamming. map modifiers will now actually be slightly meaningful instead of completely irrelevant.

maps NEEDED to be mazed to be ran and this fix even if it does little to increase map drops, will at least alleviate the burden of using of an entire exalts worth of chaos for a crappy 50% mazed map.

now the next step is to change the scaling of map drops with ridiculously high quantity maps.

Personally I would like to try and increase the duration on lightning storm and try something to add all elemental damage to it and do Elemental Equilibrium.

Stack 10 or so on a boss and nuke it instantly.

Add Elemental Proliferation for the lolz?
