Load-testing success and new race events

Nice to hear chris! =)) I think path of exile will grow up to huge game with milions of players =)

When diablo3 players hear that path of exile have ladder, pvp end gaming, very cool crafting system and no AH/RMAH i think maney players will change game fast!!

Oh god the bot ladder race... I wish I knew about it sooner.

If it wasn't for the fact that GGG have heaps of experience *and* access to a lot of data about the total number of subscribed users, I'd bet that the number of concurrent players will exceed GGG's planned budget at the start of open beta but hopefully tail off a bit after the first few days.

Apparently, there are 6,864 people playing Torchlight II as I write this and 168,739 playing DOTA2. PoE will be somewhere in between when the dust settles - hopefully a lot closer to DOTA2 than TL2 :)

Those are really interesting figures. I wonder what the figures for "That Other Game" is currently.

you need to do chat as in Eve online where it is very easy, even a place of voice communication

That other game has over 200k concurrent users, however only 10 of those are players and the rest are bots.
