I was inspired by enixtm's awesome tilted horizon after the contest was closed, so I did this yesterday.

Thanks for the extra work, enixtm :-P

My top one is enixtm's art. It's not just well drawn, the colours and style all fit into PoE's dark fantasy style. If they ever gonna make a gallery of wallpapers I really hope that this kind of art will fill it instead of childish or mangaish ones.

I also liked the one with the shadow on the beach. It takes me into a fantastic third person view experience on the Twilight Strand. With a few more hours work it could've easily become first winner.

Next time, GGG, please make a longer than 2 weeks Fan-art submission interval. I think the time was too short for many artist to even start on their work. Especially with a one-week race going on :)

People have different opinions regarding what's looking good and what isn't, just because your personal preferance doesn't align with the results of the competition it doesn't mean that the winner was undeserving to win. No one is obliged to abide by your taste or respect your opinion to the point that they let it surpass their own. It's a good thing that you root for whom you like and let them know you appreciate their art, but there is really no need to bash other artists' work in the process. I'm sure they welcome critisism so long as you're able to be constructive instead of condescending. Just keep that in mind.

-edit; I'm not targeting anyone in particular here just speaking in general terms. I think that despite what the artists' has submitted to the competition they are all great for actually participating and sharing their work, now I have my favourite ones but that doesn't diminish the value of the other artists' contributions. Thanks everyone participating and GGG for organizing this, really great stuff.

A shame that my entry did not get any feedback of the community (not talking about the judges here). Thinking about my vibrant color scheme, maybe it was a poor choice I made :D

That one is so amazing.. They were all good though. I wish I was better at art lol.. I thought of trying to compete but wouldve been so fail.

I really liked it as well. The art team had a very tough time picking the ones they preferred - I can't imagine that's an easy task.

Yeah I understand, judging art is a very subjective thing for some.

From what I can tell only Jazzo's entry out of the winners wasnt a digital media entry. Interesting. You should get them to try painting in Oil paint for future reference. ;-)

oh yea, I think it was just us two, and a few people that did pencil sketches that didn't use digital medium.
