If the video preview would take some time that could be used elsewhere more effectively, i am voting against the videos.
As alternative, if it would be more comfortable for GGG, i would suggest for small updates just appearance on some stream or starting to work more closely with some stream/youtube person. It will put the afteredit part of the work to the youtuber and might be profitable cooperation for both sides. I don't think we need the video preview of every update. I represent only myself, my own thought and believes. I am individual, not a representative of the community.
I am not speaking on behalf of someone else and I don't get offended by things that have nothing to do with me. 3.13 was the golden age. |

Biggest problem with the video was that the charges looked totally different there(much worse) than they actually look now, so lot of ppl panicked about that in vain.

If Searing Bond is considered a secondary skill, why not make it into a support gem! *Summons Decoy Totem with Searing Bond linked to it*

video was nice to see, but I wouldn't mind missing them if it gives you time for actuall "real" stuff. Just reading patch notes is mostly as exiting as watching a video about it ;).
Actualy, it was cool since you showed the new race mods and gave a peek to the decent 2 uniques. but if there is notrhing big new to show it's probably not worth to burn time for it. ign: UpForJava

I can see why a HC player would not want to face a SC player in PVP. I can also see why people would want a bigger pool of players to PVP with. But I think a few in this thread are going at it wrong. Be reasonable, stop crying, HC and SC both. A lot of HC players will always make fun of SC, and now SC players see something they can pile on to smack talk HC players.
No reason to jump on the forums and internet yell at each other. Work together people, offer up ideas and maybe things will workout in the long run. But I know this won't happen. As soon as someone scrolls to a post they don't like, they can't hit quote and reply fast enough. |

hey,Chris thanks for the update.
The notes are looking really good i look forward to the pvp tourney. Is there a way to add what the rule sets will be for the pvp tourneys. including item loss if any and so on. I can't wait to see what the new skills are. As for your question for the video. For me I can read your posts and understand them well, how ever I have to admit alot of players seem to not get it all the time just based on reading the ingame chat. I feel the videos serve a good purpose to those that are less patient, and able to understand your posts.. I have to admit i like to see the new goodies too and the last one was perfect not to much given away and yet enough to make me want more! thanks a ton for your all's hard work Soulreaver_chris |
