Hardcore Character Restoration after 1.0.1 Carrion Queen Bug

My toon died last night 10 minutes after the last patch. Level 68 Scion (75% fire resist, 3800 hp), entered in Marketplace (merciless level 61), I was looking for the decipher quest item, cleared all the place, meet that rare Carrion who fired 3 big balls, get 2 shotted. But God treat me like his son, and I should be resurrected soon. Thanks for reading, An exiled. |

I think this was very kind of you GGG, but it sets a very dangerous precedent in Hardcore. Please don't do it again. I logged in right after the patch, did a map with Carrion Queens and noticed right away I was taking absurd amounts of damage. Something didn't feel right, and I chalked it up to some sort of weird desync with everyone downloading the patch, and left to play tomorrow instead. I realize you saw this as an isolated and correctable incident but the line on this sort of thing quickly becomes blurred.
I don't quite see this the same as your Aura example, but I don't have all the information or know exactly how you know what and who counts. So I'll give the benefit of the doubt. Good job on reacting so quickly to the problem though. Last edited by RondaRousey#7395 on Nov 13, 2013, 8:58:22 AM

Even though I am not a HC/Nemesis player, and didn't lose any char perm to it(just one death for a scrubby low level while testing out the damage)I salute you for this. I don't care what others say, sometimes you have to act by heart, not rules <3

Hi there , message to the creators , I had a level 27 marauder who died nearly 5 minutes to carrion queen rare bug in marketplace right after update , I know its not a huge level but I had pretty impressive gear such has tabula rasa , geophris ,amongst other rares and uniques I have done a lot of farming with my scion to find for my marauder , I didn't know of this bug and found it pretty weird that he had died fast like that , especially given me experience in the game (almost 1 year)
As soon as I died I deleted him since I don't even get close to standard league , it there anyway my character can be revived or some kind of compensation , let me know if you need his name , ( I just don't want others to recreate him) Thank you |

Crafting doesn't exist in POE. Gambling does...and the house always wins.
