Ferrets? No thanks.
I'd prefer fauna endemic to NZ although I'm sure not everybody who plays would "get it" when looking at options which include Westland Green Gecko, Archey's Frog or the Short tailed Bat. I would love to see a flying pet be released at some point. I think an owl would be my ideal choice.
The only flying creatures in this game I can even recall are the ribbon enemies introduced in Act 3, but nothing else. same name in-game

Another birdlike pet would be nice, like Iao said an owl or maybe something like a raven.
