Will there be options to disable this? Will it work only on high texture option ON?

Chris, is there any plans for changing how entrances and portals looks like?

As by now entrances are just white spot, i guess it will look better if entrance will start glow/shine, when you point it with cursor, instead to be covered by the spot.

The portals are not reflects is it active now. I know that we can see if it active on the global map but not when you staying next to it. It would be nice to have some burning symbol on it.

And one more question about graphic (i guess it was already answered somewhere but could not found it). When you fighting behind some building or bushy forest you cannot see the enemies, will this be changed somehow?

Regarding the zone transition points: I have brought this up a few times and while it's not a priority, I do hope to see something a little more...up to the game's standard than solid white blocks. Something like the swirly portals from Gw1 would be fine.

Nice effect. I just hope you're not re-doing all the armour that way, I quite like the grimy/used/rusty look on many of them.


Just as a quick-think: Would it be possible to tie the "old" version to 0% quality, the "new" version to 20% quality, and have it slide graphics-wise between those two extremes depending on how high the quality of your item is?

In effect: The 0% armour would be grimy, rusted and dented, and with more quality the dents etc. fade until you have shiny, good-as-new armour at 20%. I have no idea how your system is set up and if it even is possible (having more than one texture for an item, and change it dynamically, not unlike procedural textures). Anyhow, just throwing that in.

Well,

why not have reflections like that, if they do not heat up your gpu more than before. I can play the game on max with proper fps, but my gpu fan is getting out of control :(... gets really hot

This should change one day.
I hope this 'completely superfluous yet pretty' cosmetic change will not affect overall performance for us player with previous generation computers... (In which case I hope that during the implementation phase you thought of including an option to turn them off).
