One-month race prizes and the 0.9.13d patch

/players existed in D2 and people still partied with shared loot, it's obviously not the end of the world. In my opinion it's still fair for a single player to take on the extra challenge and reap the reward of said challenge, adding /players would eliminate server stress because even if you block a level 1 from entering a map you'll still see the extremists rushing their characters to the new minimum requirements.

Also by saying parties won't exist after because players only party because they're forced is like saying you want to continue forcing your opinion on everybody else -- no?
Lots of people group because they enjoy playing more that way or want to chat etc. not just for the benefits so people will continue to group for those reasons if a /players command is provided. Personally I see it as just a convenience for people that want to solo boost their drops and it allows people without top of the range machines to get the same benefits as those who can run 5 copies of the game at once.
I'm fairly sure /players X only functioned in Open Realm and offline, because to get the same 'effect' I used to join muling games and level up there.

I'm with Squeaky on this one, after some thought. We need a reason to party, an incentive to play socially. As I've said elsewhere, I've only recently started doing that and I feel like a bit of a heel for not starting sooner.

I'd like to see something like tagging -- you have to hit the enemy to gain any experience from it. Something like that, not necessarily precisely that. Proximity also works. Anything that requires involvement should reduce 'boosting' via alt accounts that just sit there.

Because it shouldn't be just about partying and entering the same instance and then doing your own thing. It should be about *playing together*.

And yes, scrambling for the loot, or, as is often the case in the games I play, leaving loot for others if you just don't need it (or can't fit it at the time).

At any rate, can't wait to see what they have in mind.

Hello everyone, I really liked this game, just not bought any support pack because I do not have international credit card, it gets complicated for me. But in the days that the game was opened to the public could enjoy!
are doing a great job, I am anxious wait for the OB

PS: sorry for bad english (google translator) I'm Brazilian

PS2: I hope there is no ip block, I know that Brazilians are complicated (boring) in many games (for many kids play), but not all.
I would really love to see the equivalent of /players X in this game. Although I don't think this will happen, given how much currency you have to sink into rising up the difficulty of a single map.

At the moment I'm level 68. So far I found 2 level 61 maps and ~10 chisels. Can't really see a chance of advancing on my own and killing Vaal got trivial. It really feels like I played through the whole game. Maybe starting with a new character is a good idea. Don't know, maybe it's best to wait for OB and check out how much has changed.

The incentive is to enjoy the game with others. People who like to play socially will do so no matter what- they dont need artificial mechanic-based rewards to prod them into it. Those who generally dont wish to play socially, or only wish to trade with others but play alone, or even those few who will solo the entire game without ever interacting with another player, should not be arbitrarily penalized for doing so, which is exactly what the current system does.
