Everyone is talking about BM bulids but what with EB bulids?
EB is rather useless now it seems(maybe mana shield would change sth but in this case you are forced to play scion!)
RIP Cleave. It was fun playing melee, but seems like its being made harder and harder.

I was looking for a new game and now it seems it will be POE 1.0. I like it when things aren't already figured out, optimized and published.

What makes me smile is that the same people whacking out now will also whack out at then end of the 4 month league when other changes are made.

TBH, my play time will most likely go down quite a bit after this release.

I am excited for some of the release points (PvP, Guilds etc), but the one point that will drastically cut my play time is:

One of the things I enjoyed most about this game is that I didn't HAVE to roll end game maps. Whenever I wasn't sure if I wanted to play or not, I would always talk myself into it because I could always jump on my mf character and farm docks knowing that there was that .00001% chance (made up number) of a Shavs or Soul Taker drop. Now what is the point?

A little dramatic, yes probably.

Although for current game content I'm not sure I would call this a release upgrade. I think it's more of a content nerf with new features added.

GGG has never fixed preexisting items. Selling your uniques because of an anticipated upcoming nerf was outright stupid on your part, as it has been explained in several posts in the past that nerfing all preexisting would cause massive server downtime.
