Lmao you got absolutely dumpstered in the argument. Life builds suck for very good reason, while ES builds can have godly amounts of ES with minimal investment (as long as your gear is good) and still dish out idiotic amounts of damage.


On your tree you took almost every life node you could possibly take and still you will be left with not anywhere the same amount of life as a ES player. The only issue ES players have is that they have a rough time leveling, which of course is a non-factor when you play in groups.


I didnt expect to hear that from a closed beta supporter. If you are playing since closed beta you might have seen how things with CI or Hybrid builds was and CI had flaws while hybrid builds was all over the place. I was there and i have seen it. I dont feel like i got "dumpstered" kid , the only thing i feel is that you are playing almost a year IF you were playing and you are completly clueless on how you can build a character. L2P and come again.

I was playing when people ran around with 15k es as the standard. There is no such thing as build diversity since ob. I have been playing far longer than you. Only moose xenderen pyrocon and a few others have been playing longer than me. Tl;dr life still sucks end game. Only good for beginning of ladders or races

Ci has been superior to life in almost every Poe version. Only when they took away the modifier did it suck for abit.

oh my the days of +50% ES :)

but changes then were so frequent that it wasnt an issue

but now there is a huge issue - what is released in 4 (FOUR!!) days will stay with us more-or-less for next 4 months

so the time to QQ is now, not in 5 days when we all realize that life builds are there just so our Scions can level up before picking CI
sincerely hope we get far shot as a passive on the skill tree, i would love to make a character that exclusively engages enemies from far away.
I laughed real hard at people that say sporkers arent crying, well maybe because they already have some other build on their mind and are ready to adapt, then you will spend more 6 months whining that X build is farming more than you.
I'm happy with the changes, but I find myself wondering why it took this long to implement changes like +2 health per level and the shock nerf. This seems like the kind of thing that could have been added almost a year ago.

No, character wipe, but you will have a skill tree reset. You'll just have to reapply/plan your build again.
