hmm, I have to disagree. I really enjoyed bringing my character to the point where I can run 5 auras, which serve a very distinct function. I mean I could lose one without too much impact (less damage), but the other ones are pretty important for survival.

I'm curious how this will affect my char (it's a BOR melee build, and uses determination, grace and purity for defense and wrath & hatred for offense).

I hope it won't make solo play harder!!
I'm thankful GGG is addressing the issues of the environmental loot drop. However, I primarily play a farmer for the the same reasons already described. I like to find loot!
With low life effect, my MF is only slightly over 200. This makes it very difficult to survive. Sadly, I still don't see very much loot in proportion to my build's survivability sacrifice. Granted, low life effect via gear is probably an unwise build over all, but in this state I should have the opportunity for a higher magic find. So again, I keep myself vulnerable in order to find the loot!
My hope is that whatever changes are being made will increase the loot drop availability to solo players, not hinder us further.

the "Everyone is given a one-off passive skill respec which allows them to alter old characters to the new balance" does it mean we can start our tree from 0 points to create a new one or we will only receive 1 passive refound?

-if normal mode will get +11 level
merciless will reach +3\+4\+5 level ? that means lunaris temple lv 3 = lv 71\72
and maps of end act 3 74\75? is it possible

-will be add more quests? so there is a possibility that we will get some skillpoints by someone of
the new quests?

-and how lab and maps will change ?
i mean u can find more easy maps and TOP lv map will be around lv 77 or more high?
liek shrine lv 77 or more lv maybe the top could be lv 80?

-any chance to get a bandit respect quests?

1 Passive point would be pretty lousy wouldn't you think? hehe

We will be given a full clear of our current tree. You will be able to reassign all of your acquired points.

I very dislike aura changes ;/
For what i understand auras would now rather reserve % mana instead of xxx mana.
That is next nerf to high mana players especially eldritch battery.
Auras imo should reserve particular amount of mana.
Dont forget that high amount of mana requires to spend some passive points spent.
So its another nerf for bulids like life based wanders with eb, aux ek ranger ect and i really dont like it...

My proposition would be to make all auras reserve particular but high amount of mana.
Sth like 600 mana reserve for 20 lvl purity ect.

And why do you try to enforce peoples to play in party by changes like this?
Its veeeery difficult to run high lvl maps solo and now another change in order to buff party gameplay. From other side its more profitable to play in group not only from difficulty point of view but its also much more economic way. Wrong direction GGG.

Also you should tell us if you still let drop all mf uniques cos with iiq/iir changes on rare items some mf uniques become too overpowered and i especially mean wondertraps (100 iir would be sick in new leagues)

but you're ok with people running 8 auras in 6 man party ?

this is the main problem people have with this change. auras get better and radius get bigger, and party people get to keep all of the auras in groups

personally, I run an EB character with tons of mana. I dont have much problems letting go of some auras. Im excited for new auras because old ones like vitality were kinda a$$ and too light

but I solo (Im a summoner) so why should I be punished when others who dont have a third the mana as I do can run waay more auras in groups ? why ?

I agree that aura stacking got too popular. but then limit aura stacking in groups.
basically u just killed off an entire type of gameplay, i play for mfing only and u just killed it off good job. I enjoy finding lots of loot now its like my type of characters won't be needed now u guys totally screwed ppl who have this kind of play style. Another thing, i think its kind of a turn off on the new league because you are removing the item quantity mod. its like if i want to roll mf items double ir+ iq i can only roll half ass items can't roll the desired items i want to have when it all goes back to standard. was looking forward to playing new league but now im not too sure anymore
