Official Path of Exile Release Trailer
" This is basically exactly what I thought. It does come across as rather cliche and not all that dark; she looks a bit like a Final Fantasy character in the poster, which isn't what I'm used to comparing PoE to. Hopefully she won't seem so cliche in game; she could be awesome in fact, but the marketing doesn't make it seem so. Also, the trailer makes it seem like she's the main character. I was under the impression there isn't one as PoE is centered on the idea of "the exile," which could be anyone. I think the portrayal of the game here could possibly confuse new players as to what they're going to get. I haven't played the game for a while now, but as others have mentioned, this trailer is more of a new class release trailer, nothing more. It doesn't showcase the game and its content like the open beta trailer does.
I think GGG could have worked from the open beta trailer, creating something similar providing different footage and additional information based on the newer version of the game being released. |

My opinion will be not satisfying as others, since i have to say, that trailer was like this is "some game" and not "The game" that it actually is...

OK, GGG. I like the trailer, but I like the game. If I were an outsider looking in, as others have said, the trailer needs work. If you can, put something together from the Open Beta Trailer and the game play footage from the GameSpot video interview you just did. Your goal is to attract new players I don't think your current trailer is going to give you the best result.

It doesn't bring any attention to the awesome things this game has, for example: passive tree, gem-system, upcoming content (gems, class), 4 month ladder system, that could spark "now that's neat" in one's mind.
Quite disappointed with the "trailer". ;; Also the new character is from noble circle, and such "open" cleavage is the last thing that comes to my mind. Personally I'd prefer more elegantly delivered "cleavage", if such is needed. "Cheap" was a first thought after seeing it. "I accept Nujabes as my Savior." Great trailer, 1.0 looks like a complete win. I'm sad to see boobs selling the game though. No more OTT boobs in PoE please.
