Announcements - What's happening when Anarchy/Onslaught leagues end? - Forum

Just chiming in to express my strong disapproval of the apparent plans to allow legacy items (in the sense that there are items or stat configurations on items that will no longer be available to new players without a ludicrous amount of currency) in Standard. GGG, You guys have done right by me in so many other ways that I thought we were on the same page about game design. Seriously, what are you thinking with this step? Limited run VISUALS on an item are fine by me... but limiting a specific item is horribly frustrating to me as a player. I was debating upgrading to divine, but this is making me strongly question the long term direction the game is headed. I'd appreciate it if one of you guys would post a response (individual post would be better) explaining your design intent and goals for legacy items.
