We don't know many of the details of what this data will be used for, so it's not really our place to judge the questions in that way. A few made me uncomfortable but they were still obviously on-target with what the academic desired. I am sure the researcher deliberated long and hard over these questions before asking the *lead dev* to share them with the players.

This isn't for the devs or any sort of game feedback. It's a survey of the players. Simple.

Radim Spicar of the Faculty of Economics at the University of West Bohemia (in the Czech Republic) is researching open innovation (especially customer innovation) for his PhD thesis dissertation. He has put together a survey about Path of Exile that he'd really like answers to if you have some time free. I think that research like this is a great cause, so I'm keen to encourage people to answer his questions. He's planning to share the aggregate results with us afterwards, so hopefully they'll help us improve the way we handle feedback from players.

Why do I have the bad feeling that the game will end up in PAY TO CHANGE?

The survey got questions like "Are you willing to pay to minor/major changes of the game"
And in future that will mean: Minor change 15.000 $ major change 1.000.000 $.

So if you pay GGG 1million bucks you will get an AH for example?
Or we make the game worse on purpose so players gonna pay to make it good.


Once that happens the game is going to fail hard.

First a horrible OB with so many horrible nerfs it made PoE an instanced MMO
then advertisement footprints.
Once pay to change it will fail.

I would pay if I could have my own league with own settings and OWN CODING, this includes changes in the passive tree.
But I won't pay to have changes in the main game because the main game is damaged beyong repair.

Since you can use enduring cry to have almost 100% uptime of endurance charges, for just 1 gem slot, isnt the new support gem kind of worthless? I mean, i would surely prefer to have another support gem in the main attack , and just have enduring cry on another piece of gear. Anyone feel like i do?
Dont really have any suggestions on how to better implement this though, just stating my consern that it will be on the least used support gems list right away.

I love the idea of endurance charge on stun, simply because I hate having to refresh charges every 10 seconds.

why do they cost money? do u remember u lowered the graphics doe to better performance? rly, the only reason was to make money! they should look like this inherently!
