Preliminary 0.11.5 Patch Notes

Transferring skins will just cause mass confusion, but its only saving grace while reading through this thread was the ability to finally use race reward art. I was a little bitter (though how bitter would've depended on the pricetag) that we were going to have to pay to use the alt art safely, but was still happy you guys listened to some of the feedback regarding this. I'd take this over the next installment of lore-friendly Microsoft and Logitech footprints, I thought.

Then came this reply.

If a HC char wearing a skinned item dies, then the restored item will be restored in Standard. You should be careful wearing skinned items if you value the skin.

Cue some massive facepalming. The only positive aspect of the mt just got thrown out the window. I really don't even know what to think about the decision making going on over there.

yes I already know how bad of a nerf for fire discharger it is if implemented. WE WONT GET MULTIPLE CHARGES PER ONE OR TWO MOBS..

example: now we need to hit at least 4 mobs to get 2 charges (on max lvl of EC).. so against group of four I need 3 casts to be charged (6).. even if they buffed EC like 50% so that 2 casts would be enough to get 6 charges, it would take me around 100% more time to do that

now you understand? (last try)

Nice patch!

But:
"
Different instances of the same skill now share the same cooldown,

I did like to have two enduring cry. It was pretty useful in combat. And on several occasions i had discussions like:
"how are you so tanky?" "... also, Double enduring cry" "you can do that???!!! awesauce, i need to try that!".
So, it IS surprising that it works, and therefore should not work. But removing the option to do it makes me a little bit sad. Using the same gem multiple times is a nice feature of the game mechanics of PoE.

first off, they are INCREASING number of charges - no, we dont know by how much, but they are increasing them.

Secondly, how often you encounter only 1 or 2 mobs? Its easy to get tons of charges with one cry vs packs

Thirdly, you can mix in warlords mark or volls amu if you got power charges

Fourthly, god forbid your OP build take a little shift in balance and you need an extra second or 2 to gain charges. GOD FORBID

All Im saying is dont whine BEFORE you try shit out, it goes against very basic logic

YES!!!

I just want to make sure I understand correctly:

-I buy 1 skin transfer
-I use the skin transfer to change the look of a armor with another
-It destroys the one whose skin I transfered
-I get to keep that skin in my microtransaction to use one any armor that I want, as many times as I want

OR

-I buy 1 skin transfer
-I use the skin transfer to change the look of a armor with another
-It destroys the one whose skin I transfered
-If I want to use that skin on another armor, I need to destroy the armor using the skin, thus always destroying my gear if I want to preserve my look

The second result would totally crush this feature for me, I want to keep my older gear for other characters, I would end up not using it even though I want to

One of the things I would start doing is to get the appearance of all white items but not if it consumes my gear.

And can you use skins of different types of items on each other, like a energy shield armor look on a defense one? If not, that would also kinda kill the whole point of this feature for me

Neither.

How it works:
-You buy 1 skin transfer
-You use the skin transfer on an item (lets call this item 1) - you lose the skin transfer and item 1 turns into a microtransaction that you can use on another item (let's say, item 2). Using the microtransaction will give the look of item 1 to the item (item 2) you're using the microtransaction on.
-If you use 'reclaim microtransaction' on item 2, you recieve back both item 1 and item 2 (with its original skin). You do not get the skin transfer back, it is gone forever and you need to buy a new one.

Man, each larger patch produces 50 or so pages of bitching and moaning on the subject of 'my xyz will be ruined'. There is no hope, just stop reading forums without filter-account-type/staff, like:

☄ 1.0.0 The Butchery of Mages Patch
Nerf Nerf Nerf, WoW it reminds me of a certain nerved to death game, but I hear that the next patch after this gives the Nappie Templar without pants, a pink-Thong and a yellow-Featherduster instead of the Staff, now that's what were all waiting for!
But having said this, I still believe the game-God's who own this game will keep it challenging to play, because They seem to be gamer's themselves.
And it seems that if they are a bit short of mob's they just put a Necromancer in, or a Necromancer with just another name, so im exited how the new Necromancer's name will be.
Post Scriptum:
This is not me native language, not even the second so be mild on the grammar.
Is there a rough estimate for 1.0 release yet?
i too fas fo youuuuuuu
