im with the guy above me... 30kbs at this day and age is just poor judgement/planning. Simply do not release updates until you have the resources. ORRRRR dont release during peak hours after people get off work. do it in the morning at 2-3am when people work during the week.

Since I'm a simpleton, can someone kindly explain to me how some people can already have it and be streaming, but im lucky if I hit 20/k second? I'm resigned to the fact that I probably won't get to play tonite, I'm just curious as to why this is. As far as I know, the game gets to my computer by magic.

Anyone confirmed if torrent is legit or not?

Well i'm in Pittsburgh, PA USA. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. I'm going to start trying different locations through my VPN to see if i can get quicker speed

A ban should be sent to these guys that are saying that resetting the patcher helps the speed. I reset and now im back to 0% and the speed is worse, and I know im not the only one that tried...

Yeah ive got both the computers in my house DLing the update both my brother and I play, and we have some crash issues as well as load times esp since 1 computer has vista and the other one xp lmao so lets hope this fixes the issues at hand for us!!! goodluck to everyone!!!! ive been downloading for about an hr and half and im only at 35% LOL!

It is a bit frustrating. But not much to be done about it. I hadn't played POE in about 6 months until this past weekend. Then today, I go to fire it up, and yep - it's going to take all night to download at this rate.

Oh well. First world problems. Waaaa! Waaaa! I want my game now!
