Played this as a league starter in Beastiary and loved it.
Will play again in Incursion, looks like the new vaal LS will add some nice extra damage to the build.
Do you think the vaal LS will be usefull with the changes in the next patch?

Thanks bud, yup it's looking good. Will have to wait for more details to see if it will give some reasonable damage.

Hi, what bandits do you get? Surprised nothing is listed on the front page of the build.

Hi bandits are kill all - see under Tree section plz.
Hello Ceryneian,

Great build decided to test it out at the end of bestiary and I'm amazed at how fast this build clears. I think I'm going to try this out on an ele claw mf inquisitor using blas + enfeeble for extra tankiness even though it is probably not needed. One question, For league start with this build are there any tips/problems that might occur while progressing through atlas with little gear?

Hi bud thanks for trying the build. If you have little gear and are going through atlas I think the biggest problems you might have are either i) low DPS vs. bosses (i.e. can't get good weapon / Lycosidae / good amulet / good jewels) and ii) low HP (i.e. can't get good jewels, and gear with life).

For i) if you find you are having trouble killing bosses due to low DPS, and can't upgrade your gear I would recommend skipping bosses completely. Especially for T14+, honestly these bosses are not worth the time - it is too much risk when you have low DPS and all that for almost no xp and a handful of yellow and blue items.... -_-

For ii) low HP, since most danger for this build is from spells - I really recommend you spec Augury of Penitence, I'm not sure of the range but if you are using Ancestral Call it should be working. Then get Thraxia on Pantheon and Voidwalker boots (these are usually cheap). These will give you good defense vs. spells. Put on Basalt and Quartz/max res flask depending on type of map & mods you are doing. If you are still having trouble you will need to play completely at range, and consider adding some cold damage to your build (cold damage on dagger/rings/jewels, Herald of Ice etc.) and drop Ele Focus for a different gem so you can kill & freeze mobs from range - that would be much safer.

Loreweave is expensive but it's frickin' amazing so if you can start saving up unique rings that drop to use for the recipe and hopefully 6l cheaply that would really help as well.

Thank you very much for your well detailed explanation, going to take all of this into note while going through my atlas. I'm not too worried about bosses, as long as I can do up to T11 bosses. Was more thinking about how mapping would be with low gear, I just want to be able to farm T10-T11 maps effectively.
So many choices after these patch notes. But I still think Lightning Strike will be my go-to for starter, Vaal LS looking pretty juice for me, maybe be a sort of "ultimate skill", even helping for boss killing I guess
Yes VLS looks good, doesn't hurt to put it in for LS. I'm a little skeptical on these Vaal skills until I can see how well you can refresh charges for 1v1 boss fights.

Otherwise, apart from the new Always Attack Without Moving feature, the build hasn't really changed.

Change to PCOC is very good for anyone who was trying to build Witch - you can now skip Frenzy charges and just use the PCOC buff, stack power charges and you get the same damage buff as the Frenzy charges (although some tradeoff between the Frenzy charge APS vs. Power Charge inc. crit chance). This means you can build more around Witch and Shadow area and don't have to go so far down in Ranger area.

This build looks tempting to use as a league starter tomorrow. I usually enjoy just playing one character and maxing it out on gear, looking forward to seeing if I can clear all the content with this. Thanks for sharing the build.

any idea of what to upgrade first? i kinda need help

Hi bud I see you now level 82 and have Lycosidae, nice.

I think your HP is going to be a bit low so I would upgrade in this order:

- Chest: if you can find a better corrupted chest with more HP that is not too expensive
- Jewelry: need to upgrade rings, and start putting in jewels on tree prioritizing life mod first and then lightning damage
- Helm: is giving you good res, but if you can find one with LS enchant and higher life

Your gloves, belt and boots are good, you can keep them through end-game, unless you want better clearing then upgrade from Wake of Destruction to Voidwalker for the pierce.

- Lastly you can upgrade your dagger to get something with more crit chance and APS

For flask, try using a Quartz flask instead of Stibnite if you are playing range, or take out Stibnite and get a Blood of Karui if you can

Don't forget to get Avatar of Chase which would give you a high damage and defense boost.
