Revamped Weaver Fight

how come people assume that is the max range of the spell?
or that they are like EK? (non-piercing)

for all we know these could be homing..or heal other spiders...or make spiders on impact...or make spiders swarm you on impact...

bonus: look top-leftish on that screenshot. turn up your gamma a bit maybe. :)

Sidenote, please do something about desync. It is really bad on onslaught, it seemed to be better lately on standard, but I'm scared to death of it now, as my life can drop quickly because of it. I dunno what else to do other than stack some more life regen for when I can't hit stuff, and get more defensive stats when that's already all i have.

If it is anything like d2 they will never fix those issues. But if you could do more to mitigate it it would be appreciated, i'm learning ways to mitigate it as best as possible, but it probably slows me down by a good 50% with the build I am using.

I've been only playing on Anarchy since it appeared, never even tried any of the hardcore modes or races. Continuously playing desynched, item drops are usually somewhere else than where the mob hits the ground on my screen.

Got used to it somewhat, but still kills me a lot in tight situations. Sometimes it is so bad that I don't even see which mob killed me. They are all 1 screen away yet taking damage.
/oos doesn't seem to help much or at all.

Over 1 year away since I started this game, still not fixed. So I guess it will never be fixed...

Oh well... eventually I'll get bored and quit for good.

will you ever a) balance ranged vs melee? b) simply admit that melee is not the way this game is supposed to be played? because lets be honest most bullshit items in this game are for ranged (or sporkers.. nerf this shit please), most boss mechanics promote range, general farming speed promotes range, ability to stack iir/iiq (mandatory in this game!) promotes range etc etc.

Melee is fine, YES its not balanced vs ranged BUT its not 'not the way this game is supposed to be played'. Its one way and its not the clear cut superior way, but so what?. I enjoy playing a tank marauder, with the addition of splash and heavy strike things have changed a lot ... and if I manage to get my hands on an aegis, I will be unkillable. What else could I ask for? XD

I'm actually glad boss battles are being made to stand out but it this is what it looks like it may just be going overboard.


Respec to armor and block with shield, get some chaos res, profit (evasion sucks tbh)
