Path of Exile Tattoo

Awesome Tattoo man!

I had a lot of people call me crazy for it, but video games have been my life, both in my spare time and as a profession. When I turned 18 I went out and got the one tattoo I'd wanted since before I can remember, a Triforce on my right arm (towards the shoulder area.)

I could have gotten it before 18, but I told myself I would get it on my 18th birthday if I really still wanted it by then, and I most certainly did. 3 years after that I went to a much better artist (anyone could draw 3 triangles,) and had him put in the Master Sword (a custom drawing combining the Ocarina of Time version of the sword with the mostly blueish hue of the SNES version,) right through the Triforce.

It's been over 10 years now since I got the first tattoo, and I haven't regretted it once to this point. Every so often during the warmer months I'll have a tank top on and when I go out I'll occasionally have people come up to me and bug out over it haha! I've had people say it's the best tattoo they've ever seen, I even had one kid call me god for it lmao!

Working in the industry I often get a chance to show it off to like-minded people who will think it's amazing, but there are other people out there who would likely call me an idiot for getting something so "stupid" put on my body. Of course you can easily have tattoos removed nowadays, but this one is staying on my until the day I die.

As long as you are happy with what you've done, others calling you names for it shouldn't phase you one bit. You can't just expect everyone to love it, or think you're a genius for it of course. Besides that tattoo is ambiguous enough that many people will think it looks awesome not even knowing what it is.

Enjoy it man, I for one think it's awesome, and video games can be an important escape from reality some times, just try not to have to rely on it all the time.

Go for the malachai face tatoo next! =D
Return to this flameless sunder
Where exiles burn and the joyless wander;
Frozen lore beneath chaotic thunder,
Dominus returns to send us under.
Ugly and meaningless.

I've put a couple hundred hours into this game myself and wouldn't mind getting a tattoo related to it. I mean I enjoy the art in the game and the freedom provided in the direction your characters can go is to me a brilliant achievement of this game and it'd be nice to have a reminder of how such freedom and variety can generate a community, as well as how with such a wide-range of decisions a significant amount of people gravitate towards 'cookie-cutter' builds regardless and seems like an interesting view into how different people approach things.

That probably seems a stretch to some people, but if I can get a tattoo that relates to something I like and makes me think about something grander than just what it shows then to me that's a good tattoo.

Spoiler
It's 4:30am I hope that made some sense.

The only people I have ever met with A triforce tattoo were chicks. Are you a chick?
Remember when I won a screenshot contest and made everyone butt-hurt? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Charan asked me to post his tattoo of American rapper, Ice Cube. Hope this makes you feel better, OP.

I think it's a pretty good tattoo, though a bit too cartoony for my taste.

I'm not into tattoos, but different strokes for different folks. I'm glad that PoE helped the guy keep his sanity during a difficult time, and glad that he got a tattoo that he is presumably happy with.

There's no need to be a dick just because the things that make someone else happy aren't the same as the things that make you happy. You can just be happy that he's happy and leave it at that.

Exactly this. If something affects one's life in such a positive way, why not go for it, if that's your thing? It may not be mine, personally, but I still think it's cool, and an awesome tribute. :)
