Death Penalty Changes in 0.11.3
Good decision about 6socket items, but i dont like lowering the dead penalty.The players should be afraid to die this makes the game more challenging also makes players to carefully choose how to play and where to fight.
If u guys from GGG want to test the reduce penalty make it 5 and 10 percent, 3 and 8 is not enough. I can propose to made a new thread where people to vote for this. Please dont make the game easier.Dont make this mistake as blizzard did for WoW and Diablo 3 games And thank u for the good work :) IGN: ssserpent or sssnnnake

6 socket allocation is fair enough, seeing they do have value even if the links are completely crap.
I can see what they are doing with the XP reduction loss as when you are high level, 15% actually does start to bite, and there is no change on the HC leagues in terms to dying .. Though I hope it doesn't start a trend towards making the entirety of the game easier in other aspects, making a game way too easy will kill off the game for sure much faster then what keeping it hard is. (If you want dedicated players to keep playing) Look what happened to D3 when they kept making it more and more easymode, it wasn't the only factor but it was contributed hugely towards D3 losing it's dedicated playerbase once 1.03 started. Just a couple of thoughts, I am not too worried though, but there is a fine line towards making it too easy over making it too hard as well, I think it's much worse for the game if it leans towards the too easy line. |

Guys, stop bitching about it. This is a good step in the right direction. I have a lot of friends that neglect the game due to EXP loss.

It's default/anarchy servers, who gives a crap? People who play softcore servers aren't there for the challenge; if they are, they've picked incorrectly. There may as well not even be a death penalty.

i think the penalty is too low
i think 15% should stay on merciless because most deaths come from cruel and not merciless when most builds are not complete yet. |
