Hmm, I don't know. It sounds like I would still get this bonus if I would use only red support gem, for example Dual Strike + Life Leech. It's "socketed gems" not "socketed skill gems".

Do support gems deal dmg ? NO, can life leech get 10% extra physical dmg as fire? NO, its obviously for active skill gems that deal dmg

The wording is not 100% clear (at least not to me as a foreigner).

When I read it, I thought I get 10% for each red gem in there, all added up on the main attack.
Obviously "Life Leech" cant get 10% fire damage, but it could provide another 10% fire damage to the attack it is linked with.

I wasn't even sure if I need to use an attack skill IN this weapon (just put 6 red gems in there, and Cyclone in your torso with free +60% fire damage).

Imho it wouldn't have hurt to add "active" to the description.

Wouldn't the zombies be more squishy because of the big drawback? I know you can make up some ground with minion&totem resistances, purity of elements, and some minion resistances, but that is mostly to keep them very durable for end-game maps.

Making them die faster makes them a lot more effective for minion instability. you'll spam a lot more desecrate than usual, and I think you'll probably want a bit more cast speed. Kinda wanna try it out myself if I didn't burn myself out of summoners in open beta. :P

Personally, out of all the build types out there, when it comes to Summoner builds, I tend to have a really hard time making a stable build since there is so many variables involved. Elemental caster builds used to be the next one up to be a tough task to build, but having played for a long time, I got have gotten plenty of experience, so I actually knew what to get. Summoner builds......still wondering how to make it work.



If this shield is really good with a summoner build, than I do not have much to say, beside what I said.
