Unique Item List - 300 of 419

To be fair, he did include RF and pain attunement in his... Err... Math. Maybe you can get 300k DPS with that tree then! No, but seriously, that sounds like an awful combo. Cast on Hit Discharge is nearly impossible to make efficient.

I just invented one of the most op build in this game ;).

Let's few weeks/months guys, you'll see mjolner build will reach amazing damage. (probably based on recently buffed arc x 3 on this op hammer)

But of course, an hammer who make a 10 socket attack is not a problem ...

6 link + 3 light spells in hammer + 1 cast on HIT 50% ... fuck seriously, GGG, it's too much.

The hammer has 4 stats on it and they are all "mediocre"

GG please nerf.

Spoiler
wtf is up with these failed theory crafters?
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

-50 physical reduction IS A LOT

People seem to underestimate this mod, good thing do it will make the item dirt cheap which i have no problem with.

My only concern with this mod is that it is "animal only", this could potentially create a risk scenario where you neglect certain mobs based on experiencing animal based hits while using this chest and as a result get shredded due to the unexpected damage spike.

Really? Let's think about this for a second. You are reducing physical damage by 50 hit points, and you are doing this in level ~60+ areas since you can only equip the item at level 59.

Physical damage. When does this apply? I doubt any animals are using physical spells, so this implies auto attacks from mobs. Now if you are a ranged evasion character do you think any mob is coming up to you close to land auto attacks? No - 90% of the time you fighting from range. So why would a ranged evasion user consider wearing this chest instead of a good rare - that animal mod is useless to them, and the rest of the chest's mods are lacklustre.

That leaves us with evasion melee, and any evasion melee character at level 60+ is NOT worried about white mobs autoattacks - they are worried about the big hits that hit for 500+. So 50 damage reduction on animal auto attacks - is again, a wasted mod for them.

The more I think about it, the more I see that this chest is actually better for an armor build with Iron Reflexes since I believe the 50 physical damage reduction comes AFTER the armor reduction. Either way it only applies to animals. So why would an IR user use this chest instead of a good rare / Daresso Defiance / Lightning Coil?

Overall, I just don't see the value of this chest - it has no place in the game, and it just seems to be poorly designed.

Hopefully you can put it to good use and prove us wrong.

Animals are only a part of the mobs you encounter in Poe. And let's be honest -50 is not that much.

Arctic armor at lvl 20 provides a -189 phys/fire damage per hit. Arctic armor is very good vs some mobs such as tity bitches, voidbears; versus big hits (like the one from the big skelletons) this is neglibigle (you won't see any difference).

The hits that will most likely kill you in this game are NOT small hits. Why ?
Damage mitigation mechanics => the smaller the hit is the bigger the reduction is. Of course I'm talking about the armor mechanics.

Most dangerous things in this game.
1- lag/desync
2- big phys crit
3- some OP elem damage (shock stacks are still one of the deadliest thing).
999- Multiple small hits

This armor is trash period. Merely because it provides nothing more than a rare chest can.
- high eva (a bit less than high eva rare)
- low life (70 max vs 109 max)
- troll tri resist (max speudo all resist = 75) a rare one can reach 135. no chaos resist.
- near useless reduce vs animal (yeaaa the -50 applies after armor reduction, enjoy your 50 reduce versus a 5k phys crit :D) ps: small hits are nothing with regen/leech anyway.
- 25% reduced Movement Speed
1% increased Movement Speed per 450 Evasion Rating
This is the "unique" part. A direct drawback in the case of IR/low eva; in theory could provide some nice move speed boost: In my opinion not bad at all for some build with 15k+ eva.
It is just not enough to justify using this over a good rare.

If we assume a character with 18k eva to make it simplier (achievable eva anyway).
-25
+40
=15

15% move speed gain is basically the best you can do with this chest...

Romira proc is on attack, not on hit. Can also proc on cast but then no proc from Mjolner. And since each power charge give the same dmg into the discharge when Mjolner finally proc, it will limit by attack speed cause you can only generate 1 power charge per attack.

Assuming proc only happened at max charge for easy calculation ( but it doesnt matter for the dps since you only deal dmg base on how many charges have create )
7 power charges ( good luck getting that and 400str ) + 3 frezy = 2579 un-modified dmg.

u forget something small but important...

now lets see what happen shell we?
first attack, only one power charge and discharge... than another (lets assume cyclone).. also if u use blood rage, every kill ull make, ull get franzy charge, and after few sec.. ull have max franzy charges, which will make u pretty much kill everything close by and gain those charges back..

-Assume ele & spell on tree and gear = 200% ( "surely" one can get this number and get 400 str...)
-95% crit and a little more than 500% crit multi ( very legit if one manage to meet the stat requirement and enough survivability... )
- RF + Pain attunment + conc effect = 1.59*1.3*1.69 = 5 ( "surely" one can sustain RF + going low life + achieve all the above again, dont forget the 412 str )

Total multiplier = 3*5*5 = 75
Dmg per discharge = 2579 * 75 = 193k

who said u will use it to do 1 10M dmg discharge?
why not alot of smaller discharges (like 10-20k? doable? ), but they will happen with cyclone few times before the attacks end, so pretty much u start cyclone, and everything die.. (i tested it, only problem is my computer is too weak to the lag it create)

also dont forget blood rage attack speed with low life....
my builds:
- COLB (Cast On Last Breath) first ever build: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1632595
- the Flash: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1367774
- the oro's bridle build: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1409823

Then why not make a pure CoC build? You get more survivability from life leech as well as more damage from super high crit+crit multiplier. You can also boost damage of your spells using daggers/wands.

And a far higher hit rate due to not being stuck with a slow as shit Gavel.
Is it normal that this dropped in Standard?

My pure evasion character with only his body armor providing 1k evasion (rest is IIQ/IIR gear) still gets 27k when using his Jade Flask of Reflexes. I imagine 35% move speed are nice for manual dodge? Those +18%/+30% evasion nodes get a pretty nice boost by Queen of the Forest.
