That is a very neat summoner helm :O

I hope that new summoner helm has some nice 3d Art that goes along with it. :D

If people can make ES builds with Voll's, they'll make ES builds with this. And something makes me think it won't cost 40 ex. You could use a good ES shield, and grab the Sheild ES nodes for a big boost without costing tons of EX, invest more into passives, etc. It's designed to have a drawback (No ES Chest) but still be a viable alternative to an incredibly rare power unique. Will it not be as optimal? Of course. If this was a ring or amulet like people suggested, it would be entirely counter to the idea of this unique (Cheaper alternative to shavronnes), because such an item would probably be BETTER than Shavs. If you could use a 1000 ES Tri Res Vaal Regalia with this theoretical ring, why would ANYBODY use Shavs?

Edit: I'd just like to touch on something similar to what the poster above said. Lowlife builds are incredibly powerful, you can run auras off of life, get 30% MORE spell damage, 100 rarity, have massive spell AND Regular block using only your shield, etc.

uggg i HATE to choose between helms.

you probably have alpha's so thats -300es that you could have from a good ES helm.

now e also have a regen helmet
there is always the +2minion helms...


ugggh so many choices :D

btw, with +6% from tree to block just with this helm and a lowly perandus one can give 56% block to minions from the get go. add the new skill that gives block chance and i think it will be quite easy to cap block on the minions with cheap gear (let alone what you can do with expensive gear like with a rathpith giving max block+spell block)

I am sorry my post was directed at hrishi's statement, the new helm came in between my post and his discussion :D.

I was pointing out with a total of 1200+- ES on gear i manage to get 4300ES with discipline, without taking CI (no %more value), so in theory if you stack 1200 ES all around your gear except your chest, you can equip the new low budget shavronnes and be sort of save.

I should also mention i use mings heart with this set-up so i get 20% reduced ES. (but i have 66% chaos resist :p)

At first I was like 'meh, another low-level chest?' but then I was like 'holy shit, Shavronne's Jr.!'. The downsides are quite hefty (no ES, pure strength chest) but I think they're reasonable. The summoner helmet is great too!

Except it's a STR+DEX Helmet. Still a good Item but maybe not for my current Eldritch Battery Build where INT and ES matters more.

That's accurate, but i would not advice using daresso's with this armor :').

Getting all your ES from just boots/gloves/helm/belt/rings and amu will be a harsh feat.
