Yeah, I posted it for the flavor text suggestions but GGG wanted that one and I liked it a lot so we went with it. I really liked your suggestion but we ended up going with this. Yep, it sucks big time unless you have a billion attackspeed or don't mind dying to reflect everytime you encounter a rare mob with that affix.
