What I was talking about is using righteous fire only in boss fights for a few seconds. Assuming you are eg a crit dual dagger Shadow, you have insane dps. Assume you are on low life as well and using pain attunement, this is like a 90% multiplier to total dps. If you had 222.22 k dps without the crown you would exactly get + 200 k dps if you calculate with a 'more sd modifier' of 0.9 (0.6 from righteous fire, 0.3 from pain attunement)
With 1 hand, that fire res shield and decent regen, you could even sustain it longer than a few seconds or maybe just by using life leech/vaal pact.

Incorrect. That would mean that Chain (50% less dmg) and GMP (50% less dmg) would make you do 0% dmg, when in reality it does 25% dmg (100%*0.5*0.5).

or you could wear 2 weapons that actually do dmg since prismatic exlipse has 1/3rd of dps of a good 1 hander

Again, RF isn't affected by Reduced Duration. It's not a duration based skill. The only ways to turn it off are:
-Leave the instance
-Use a Dousing flask
-Be <= 1 HP.

RF and Pain Attunement are multiplicative modifiers - This is indicated by the keyword "more." As such, they do not add together.

I'm not aware of anyone with 222.22k DPS, but if you had that much, yes RF and PA would give you quite a hefty bonus...although I think at that point it would be completely negligible since it'd all be overkill anyway. On a more serious note, people aren't typically running around with DPS quite that high.

I cannot possibly begin to imagine trying to use RF with Vaal Pact. Negating all regen means you'll be burning for a very large % of your HP at a time, and even if you could leech enough to make up for that, you'll eventually run out of enemies to leech off of.
