Extra gore:
"Imbues a weapon to make your spells and attacks cause extra gore. " Does this mean my Discharge (for instance, or other spells) will also cause extra gore? Can I get a clarification on this one? Anyone tested this out already? If so, how is it with FPS? A video would be appreciated! |

" I just had to level a new witch to fix about 10 points near the start of her tree, lvl81 witch in the bin, another levelling all the way to 81 again to fix 10 points. Its taken me to my wits end with this game, Im so sick of relevelling characters it just makes me want to quit the game right now. Sry if what I said wasnt polite but I just feel like walking away atm, Ive spent weeks playing every single day to farm chroms to fix my gear, farm jewellers to fix my gear, farm a whole new char to lvl81 to fix my build... Im soooooo fucking pissed off with having to 'work' in this game just to get to a point where I can 'play', Ive probably put about 80 hours into just 'fixing' characters recently and now more characters are fucked. aghhhh man, seriously. " I know what you feel like. I had a groundslam marauder that was purely based on health nodes and life leech. His health dropped by 1000 some patches ago. Then again, this is open beta still if I'm correct. And if it isn't the game is still in it's early stage. They try to balance things propperly. |

Hello Chris. This might be a bit out of topic, but I would like to know what your future plan is with the development of the unique items.
Is it your plan to have at least *one* unique item for each item name? I'm wondering :-) Very nice patch by the way! IGN: Caydranth

Im all for balance man, I want them to keep changing stuff to get things right before launch. But whats the point in changing stuff if they dont give us a respec to try it out? Ive played this game for over 2000 hours since the launch of open beta, 2000 hours, I can tell you right now at least 1200 of those hours have been spent doing something other than just 'playing', Im trivial boss farming for orbs to fix my gear, to roll my maps, to find regrets, farming entire new chars to fix my builds, im playing but Im not really 'playing', Im doing something I have to do to fix a problem.
I want to try out a bunch of new builds with this patch, but Ill be fucked if Im going to level yet another character, esp when I now have things that need orbs of regret to fix in existing characters. Im not spending a single regret, and Im not levelling again. As for the new ranger, the weapon elemental damage is still at the templar, so if you plan on using a bow or using melee with fast attack speed, what you want is still on the other side of the tree. I dont even have to look at the other nodes to know that if I start a bow character or a fast attack speed melee character I will start as a duelist still. No wed? no way. Fundamentally wrong and broken character class. |
|
" I would like to know this as well, especially for spells like Lightning Warp. |
|
" OK. I have a Duelist and knowing my build and seeing this picture, I can guarantee that when I log in I am going to have the same problem in this area of the tree. Prior to your shifting the tree around, those now extraneous Dex nodes were required for Iron Reflexes and/or the 8% Chaos Resist node. No one in their right mind would take those Dex Nodes now unless wanting Point Blank, and even with that no one would have taken that very last Dex Node. Seriously, anyone with a build in this area of the tree should have been given a free respec. |
|
" So, you LOST NOTHING (you have the same nodes you had prepatch: chaos resi, Iron Reflexes, those required dex nodes...) and GAINED 3 EXTRA SKILLPOINTS at the price of 3 Regrets (~1 gcp or what?) and you're going ragemode over it? Seems like a pure win for you. Something I did not see here correctly? |

+1 for GGG to be more inclusive with respecs. It does GGG no harm and it's not exploitable.
There has to be a low point where some people stop complaining because it's just not worth it, and I have yet to see it. - Squeakypaw, 2013
