[1.0] Balanced MF/HP/DPS --LA/Frenzy Ranger Build.
I have tried a lot of different LA builds along the way as well as making many of my own. This is a very solid build and squeezes the most elemental damage as well as providing a very hearty build. With alot of the changes in the last patch has only added some dps increases and more life regen.
This was the build I was trying to build for but i kept trying to fit in iron grip but it didn't seem to add the dps I wanted even with 350 strength. I have changed my gear around and traded for a full elemental bow to reap the benefits of this build. I now need to find a elemental quiver with 10% ias because i feel I will finally surpass the damage of the blackgleam. I am giving this build the bump it deserves =p Keep it up man! |

Build has been changed and will be posted soon have to give someone a pm but dishing out a lot dps due to the simple change was squeezed in.

Just wondering if this build is more tailored to end game content or good for leveling from 1-x ?

" Its more of a end game build. I think in the early levels more defensive notes are necessary. IGN: Ciode

Was dicussing Hokuto about this build and I consider it one of the best LA builds right now but it is very gear dependent. Mainly concerning the koams and enough int from gear and less at higher lvls, this was my biggest struggle but found the right gear set to run it all. I still have not found a quiver better then black gleam, I thought this would be different with a full elemental bow, rings and amulet, but it still does not supercede the damage the black gleam adds. Even with a 30% 10 ias quiver, the extra 5% would not even add up to be more the only way I could conceivably do more damage is to downgrade/sidegrade to a lion's eye and go heavy crit/crit mult gear but the reflect damage from this combination would be very deadly.
In a nut shell I prefer resolute with a awesome thicket and focusing on elemental damage, ias, and wed. Also not 100% sure how wed is calculated because my number aren't coming out correctly. With my elemental bow I should be doing a lot more. For next time! |

I am now level 28 and using the build here and so far I have some good survivalbility and damage going on. But now I play carefull.
Let see how far I get with this build while leveling |

i have a question,
it sounds noobish but how you do this whole thing with swapping weapons? i mean u need your bow when u do a run, but then u lack that mf. you only switch to the 2h axe when u kill big mobs? cheers and yea one more question why you are using blackgleam?? with +elemntal dmg and +lightning dmg etc. quivers i have much more dps!? Not sure how your ele quiver is doing more. I have the max amount of ele nodes and this item set.
My assumption is that the elemental damage would do a lot more but it was more then 150 dps less. Last edited by mopo200#3439 on Aug 7, 2013, 7:03:53 PM

could the reason be that i use a 39% blackgleam?? because i dont think that that 11% are the big differnce...
