My idea is CAPES. I mean full blown CLOAKS blowing in the wind. These capes could be added to a chest slot item (similar to weapon effects) and could display achievements, race standings, custom text...

Alternate Voice overs when killing rares.

Able to change your characters looks, facial features, skin colour. as well being able to transmute items make an Item look like another one.

I posted this earlier in the week but I would love to see a flicker strike smoke bomb where you stand and where you appear. The attack would have a back stab animation to go with it. That would make for a complete flicker ninja

Portal Effects:

 Think about how awesome it would be if there were special effects for your town portal. You could have like a flaming hell portal or some kind of black hole. These portal effects would make cool sounds if you open them and light up the whole screen for a second. Guys in your party will stop and look in awe as a colourfull sparking gate to another dimension opens. :) Diablo II veteran playing the REAL successor. I believe a sun beam in the fog effect for purity would be awesome. If you don't know what I mean, take one sunbeam from the following image:

I believe GGG can code this up fairly easily. The aura effects as is, could use a face lift. No one really notices a the little circle at your feet. |
