Please nerf this fucking hillock boss in maps
" That wasn't the video. That was the video of my farming character which is grimp via IIQ/IIR. I just finished with my lvl 56 Marauder against the Blacksmith. The nerf to life hurted me a lot. I died three times facetanking him. All was due to bad microing. However I don't think I could have beaten him with perfect microing. His melee attack hit fast, stun, and knockback. The stun and knockback prevented me from leeching life back. Really annoying. If I had more life I probably could have beaten him via facetank. With that said I did beat him without any more deaths using leapslam. LeapSlam vs. LeapSlam. I'll post the video ASAP. Last edited by deadlylag#6397 on Jun 21, 2013, 10:43:45 PM

" Only reason you could facetank him like that is 7 endurance charges, SEVEN. No game should impose on their players a certain must of a playstyle, running around with 3 enduring cries is downright boring and having charges should be optional, not required. " The goal is not dying once, also as i said before, having to build your character based on what a boss does is annoying. Yes leap slam might work, but what about people who don't want to use leap slam or 7 endurance charges + shield to block his attacks? Boss is overrated and not that hard to deal with.
If you can't beat him without dying, run other maps. |

" You can beat him just by running in circle and kitting. I beat two blacksmith with my summoner without dying. I can beat him with leap slam without dying. I can beat him with immortal call without dying. I can keep immortal call up forever. That means the blacksmith will not deal damage to me. The goal of the test was facing tanking him without the use of immortal call at lvl 56 vs 66. The main reason why he killed me was his knockback which robbed me of my life leech. I can survive his hit as long as I can leech back the life I lost. If I have 500 more hitpoints which was lost in the nerf I could have face tank him. At par lvl the Blacksmith should not be any trouble. Anyway here the videos. Part 1 shows me herding large amount of mobs. Part 2 near the 13 minute mark is where I face the Blacksmith. Keep in mind this is a lvl 56 Marauder vs lvl 66 map boss. It is also my first time I used this character in a while. So my microing was rusty. http://youtu.be/TI6bS8TwHLo http://youtu.be/UPRemKhpoZ0 http://youtu.be/_E3iI8JRpQE Last edited by deadlylag#6397 on Jun 22, 2013, 5:04:00 AM

It shouldn't be MANDATORY to have 7-8 endurance charges + immortal call to face this boss.
Not every build builds around endurance charges, and your comment about summoners is invalid seeing as summoners can solo the whole content with mediocre gear due to the fact how good their minions scale. [2.2] The Vampire - Tanky 2H Axe Slayer Duelist - /view-thread/1611662

What a stupid topic, deal with it or stop playing shit builds.

I just came across this thread and found one sentence to be pretty funny in retrospective.
" Kole was nerfed because Kripp made a really stupid mistake. So why not nerf Hillock if someone dies to him ? Ah right, cause as long as Kripp doesn't die, everything is balanced, got it ;) IGN: Darkrox (not my main, just for easy contact) ~ Yes i'm the Darkrox from Runes of Magic - World's #1 Guild Pravum 2009 - 2011 ~ Last edited by Darkrox#0968 on Jun 22, 2013, 9:48:01 AM

" Is this why Rhoas can be evaded now? "If they actually showed gameplay with it zoomed out and then zoomed it in for the real one I think there would be actual riots in the street. I think that people would burn the building down."

" Fucking purely defensive builds get wrecked by this guy if they aren't running charges (or absurdly excessively powerful gear), a feature GGG stated they wanted to be optional. This is the EXACT problem that D3 Inferno had. Not to mention that this boss is level 66. Last edited by Xendran#1127 on Jun 22, 2013, 10:08:01 AM
