Add "/remaining" to Mapinfo top right.

Please add this info as a perm info on the Mapscreen opened via TAB.
Would make stuff far easier.

I second this, and if I could duplicate myself 10,000 times I'd give you a round of applause for this simple suggestion.

It may as well be implemented. Using the /Remaining command, I agree, is an unnecessary hassle.

I see no good reason why this cannot be done other than GGG at the moment has other things they'll be implementing first, and perhaps later, add this in.

P.S. I hope GGG in a Word Document is saving only what they think are the best suggestions in these forums for reminders. It would be sad to see them go to complete waste.

This needs more exposure and feedback. With the views this has gotten thus far and hardly any feedback, it leads me to assume there's nothing this idea can do to hurt PoE in any way.

The current 'remaining' system is not very good. It doesn't scale properly with the amount of enemies slain. If there's 50 enemies roaming around and you kill 5, it always seems to say, "20 enemies still remain." Currently, all it does is GUESS at how many enemies are in an area.

Why not just scale the kills with exactly how many enemies were slain?

For example, if an area starts out with 30 enemies, and a player kills just one enemy, it should say there are 29 enemies left, not "20 enemies still remain."


Someone replied to me saying it's for the sake of suspense only. I got it. It makes sense.

Still, I agree the info should be put in the top-right corner of the screen.

I like the idea with the "more than 20 monsters".
But everytime to enter a macro to check up is too much.
Also bosses should NOT! count towards when they are not directly on that floor like brutus.
Or at least an info like "Monsters clear, boss still stands"

Another possibility would be a scale kinda like XP showing what percent of the monsters are left.

Yes! I spent so much time looking for that last remaining monster and it was a boss on the next section. Very frustrating!
