There are some offensive bonus being added into the skill tree. And furthermore, the skill tree changes intention is to allow us to go more offensive in our build.

So I think the skill nerf is to keep things balanced when taking all that into account. I have a FP build too, and my FP will be even more powerful with the extra 20% skill elemental damage a witch is getting, for example.

So we'll have to see how we can balance things out through the skill tree.

So much butt hurt in this thread.

I'm really glad so many of you will be quitting the game, I'd prefer to play a game without crying little kids.

You know how to tell a certain skill and build was very over powered and broken? When a SMALL adjustment is made to it that scales the damage output in line with other skills to balance the game and people immediately start SCREAMING that you have BROKEN their build and they can no longer face roll content with their iWin button and that their character is unplayable now. What a joke. They need to learn to play.

Chris I'm really happy to see the game going in the right direction with balance. Don't let the usual gaming forum QQing dishearten you. This is a really excellent patch. Your team has done a fantastic job. Very excited to see patch deployed on live server.

And in regards to balance, contrary to what many babies are saying in this thread, you are doing it the right way! You don't balance over powered skills by making all the other skills overpowered as well, you balance out the OP skills and really bring out the diversity in classes, builds and use of the passive tree. Which is the direction you're moving in.
The only thing I'm sad about is not enough time per day to play all my very interesting uniquely built alts that I have made. ;P

Was a nice mix of survivability and BARELY decent damage. After the 11.0 nerfs it doesn't seem like any form of spark totem build is going to be viable because it just won't be able to do enough damage with the reduced base critical strike chance. Even if you pick up every crit node on the tree, you won't be able to bring that lower crit chance up to something reasonable because lowering the base exponentially lowers the passive node benefits.


You know you're "wasting" a passive right? You could recover one of your int nodes and either take a +30 int node, if you need the int or something else.
what about the changes regarding the way that armour works?

I am good with everything except:

- Play Onslaught or whatever if you want those potentially uber uniques and new rings / amy.

This is an utter disaster. forcing people to participate in a league so they can actually benefit from items in their current league.

I thought we were able to get anything anywhere (grossly) in this game. Looks like not and we're forced to go bollocks farming in another league just for the sake of keeping the game alive.

i am not sure what to think of that monster damage reduction along with the health/ES reduction for players. since nothing specific was said i fear it might beuseless. if now it is 20 vs 20 and i reduce both to 10 vs 10 its actually still the same....more info is needed!

also: no info about wether or not armor or evasion was changed, fixed, improved, worked on......

overall: not bad

Inner Force has been reduced from 18% increased buff effect to 12%. The other increased buff effect passives have been reduced from 6% to 3%.

Considering that they banned Kaom's from the new leagues, I highly doubt the new league-specific uniques are so extraordinary that it's mandatory for your character.

Also, guys. They nerfed monster damage because of how armor works.
