What are your main causes of death

White mobs, laser ability, comet, chaos ground errupt or plant balls.
The last two mainly kill me if i get stuck in a pack or terrain.

So
1. White mob super damage abilities yes they are telegraphed but i have to spot them in a pack of 100s.
2. Getting stuck in terrain/dead ends or in groups of mobs.
Powergap 1+2 are 90%+ of my deaths
3. Mistakes on bosses
4. Difficult combinations on rares like speed+mana drain.
I think I died once after the campaign.

It's mind numbingly easy if u play ES and have 6k+. Only time I got close to dieing was a breach in a temp chains map with ele pen.
Taking more damage than I have life.
50 Shades of corpse explosion.
Also pre-loaded shrine meteors that load in 2/3rds of the way down.
For me it's been mostly Bosses in the Campaign (trying to use a pure minion build from Level 1 was perhaps a mistake)

As for deaths from mapping, it's been mostly from getting swarmed by fast little balls things with legs (forget the name) that spawn from Corruption sites that stun lock me.

A Rare with these minions and the resurrect minions mod is quite the challenge.

Offscreening!
We need more zoom-out!!! i cna't say it often enough, the low zoom makes everything feel bad, mobs can see you far more ahead of you see them. some of their auto-aim abilitys like the lightning strike ones, even hit you while not even the elite have seen you and just slendering around. KAME-HAME-HA (this fire beam caster) if some obstacle is between us, i mean who created a mob that can shoot far above the whole screen?

#2 ground effect you can't see at all.
because eighter the area itself is to dark, or the ground is to cluttered/dark.
and again BY FAR #1 in this cathegory: Corpse Explotion, you can't see them on ~99% of grounds

#3 the "IDK WTF JUST HAPPENED" deaths
well nothing to say here but ... IDK

#4 crossbow not shooting (damn bug)!!! > getting swarmed > dodgeroll useless at that point > crossbow still not shooting > well dead

#5 kill an elite, and die while looting.. afterdeath (not ondeath!) effects!
Ego
Barring the campaign which isn't properly tuned on some bosses.
It's the heavy overhead white/blue mobs that smash you despite you thinking you're safe.
Also the lack of drops during leveling makes you weak to elemental damage.
And campaign bosses have a..lot of health, combined with the low drop rate.
And evasion, armor sucks for this.
Volatile plants,

Faridun plaguemancers,

Corpse explosions,

4th trial ascendancy bird with bullshit tornado,

The lightning skellies that are created in corrupt zones from killing tight groups, feels overtuned.

Sometimes just bunch of long range projectiles that out of nowhere deal massive dmg, hard to tell, theres no death dmg log.

Oh yeah, the sun priests who lazor you from 3 screens away.
