What are your main causes of death
I currently have two main causes of dying, both of them feel extremely annoying:
A) Get trapped by mobs in some weird geometry or corner, usually because shroudwalkers teleport to me when im next to a wall. B) The fact that the game punishes you if you are slow making you more likely to commit the mistake of overextending. Great example of this is spirits, because the area where they stand still without exploding is so limited, you are guaranteed if you try to dodge around a bit it ll start its red exploding animation slowly making you try to rush to it which further pushes it deeper and increase the risk Another example is breach, because hands, at least the ones after the first one are so rare and you know a breach will close any second now you are incentivized to rush to them, I just died cuz the hand was blocked by mobs so dodging to it to open it did not work and once that failed, i was swarmed. Both of these mechanics promote reckless attitudes because the thing is I can safely clear them, stay near the first breach hand or let the spirit explode and not die, but that would feel horrible cuz i lost all the extra rewards. I am honestly not sure how this can be fixed, I believe recklessness should be punished, at the same time losing all those rewards feels so horrible. Insanely long fall animation off the Rhoa mount. It's instant death. Always lol. This has made up my last 20 deaths or so consecutively.

Various players - various experience. No idea what the people talking about here.
The only right reason to die in this game is the fact that the devs has complete abcense of any sense and brain in their heads. They slap on the new game old map mods. One single shitty mod in simu killed me 5 times in a row without leaving any chance to survive, was lucky to finish it. Also it's 5 out of total 15 deaths by level 92. Where the other 5 all in normal difficulty in campaign. That's insance how shitty the loots were. Couldn't even afford to buy or craft something with ele resistances. And the other 5 mostly on ele penetration maps with monster crit chance/multi mod. They designed the builds which currently work more or less well the way, it leaves too little suffixes to overcap resistances, or you lose a lot of dps. And leaving ele pen mod. The map mods are an issue, not the game or monsters or bosses even if pinnacle. |

Offscreen mobs pre casting stuff on the ground i can't see thanks to blood pools/acid pools/burning ground, arbiter desync making its one tap mechanic go at 300% increased speed

Huge dudes with a statue slam. Since i'm running a minion build, they target minions from off screen and ohko me. Well, did until i upgraded my ES quite a bit.

Volatile plants are overtuned - they spawn way too much, way too fast
physical damage archer mobs packs shooting you all at the same time can OS you if youre not eva based (main culprits are decrepit mercenary and hyena centaurs) Sun priest beams are overtuned |
